What a day! Still no Gertie the kitten. Left plenty of time for a normally 3 1/2 hour trip to Edinburgh airport , a bad accident on the Forth Bridge held us up for nearly 2 hours missed flight bag closure by 20 minutes, spentvafternoon trying to get alternatives to Amsterdam but theyn where booking up as I found them , even for tomorrow. A fraught afternoon, Mrs bl suggested Inverness , I managed to sort a 630 am flight tomorrow tobAmsterdam then train to Rotterdam etc , so drove to hotel at Inverness airport . 380 mile round trip , ended up 50 miles from home , knackered and an early start so night night everyone!

Morning all, another bright start to the day., the weather - not me.lol
Hope you were able to get away @blueloon and you and Mrs BL have a great weekend.
Seems Rosie will be spending time on the naughty step @jazzy and I bet she never offered to help clear up the mess. lol
Hope all is well @peteblue , you have been in my thoughts lately.
Yesterday, in my quest to avoid the jobs piling up at home I visited my brother. I spent the afternoon power-washing the crazy paving and flagstones in his garden, much more satisfying than housework!

Still here, wife still ok but nothing positive and having to deal with a few issues. I’ve been keeping up to date with all the posts in here and admiring the photo’s from the cruise. Not so sure about Fred’s new alcoholic best mate, Fred will be drunk and fast asleep as the ship goes past BMD at this rate……
