Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Recently, yes. During later periods of last season, I thought he showed signs of promise, but sadly we can't really afford to give him time to nurture and develop.

Whether he comes good or not, we need a first choice XI right now - we need someone we can rely on and who'll make our defence better, not worse.

Same with Mykolenko really - both are suspect.
I’m Seamy’s biggest fan but there needs to be succession. A fit Coleman now makes us more solid and offers the same going forward.

Dont want to see Garner moved there though.

I’m still on my way home from Sheffield (via well known Liverpool landmarks The Childwall five-ways and The Bridewell) so I’d like to pose a question in here rather than the EFC forum.
Who would you play in the front 6 when everyone is fit and available ?.
I’m taking for granted Harrison and McNeill are wide right and left supporting the full backs , there’s 4 positions for Gueye, Onana, Garner, Danjuma,Doucoure, Beto and DCL . We’ve seen the midfield overrun and we haven’t had a ball carrier since my fellow Wavertree native Barkley.
Fire away……..

I honestly don’t know. I discount DCL because he is forever broken, Beto has to be in, but now it seems we have a few decent players to squeeze in and equally good replacements. No idea or view on Harrison, so would start without him and go with Gueye, Onana, Doucoure, Danjuma and put Garner RB. That puts 6 of them in with Harrison and Patterson out. Swap and change Danjuma and Harrison as required. Tough question tbh……

Good morning all on this fine day here in Finland .I hope all are well and have a great day . I can't believe we are struggling to pick from the glut of players but I concur when all are well there will be a fine crop for Sean to choose from or better still utilise during a game ,a privilege we haven't had for a while . I think on his showings so far Beto has to be in , I too wish we could find a way to have Garner further forward ,Mcneil on form has been great .I have a feeling Gana will be the one to drop as he is not as crisp passing the ball lately .COYB.

What did you think of the match btw…..

Good morning blue, been up a chunk of the night with my wife but she’s now sleeping soundly so I’m going to do similar, see you later…..

That’s a tricky question but on what we’ve seen so far this season I would include Danjuma, Beto and Dacoure based on nothing more than we’ve looked much more likely to score and get the ball forward with them in the team. Not sure who to pick from the others tbh. I’m not Onanas biggest fan. With better players around him you’d have to see if DCL could get his scoring form back when fit, but he needs to stay fit and start scoring this season otherwise…

Morning all, I don’t know why I’m awake at this hour but here we are. Still pondering on the game yesterday. The good thing is there is time to work on things during the international break to help Beto and the other new young lad to settle in a bit more. I still feel optimistic but I won’t base a prediction for this season on the next game against Arsenal, but no doubt when they hammer us people will be back to doom and gloom. I’m interested in seeing what the team’s response will be and how resilient they are against a good team.
Buy the car @blue1948, such a great feeling to drive a car that you love.
Have a lovely day everyone whatever you are up to, looks like it might be another good day here forecast up to 23 degrees 😍.

Good morning all. It looks like another sunny day today. Grass cutting is the task for today for us. Mr F is sad because of the Newcastle result. I don't think I helped when I said that they were the same as us - played 4, lost 3.
Buy the car @blue1948 .
I only have two more weeks in work before my hols. I can't wait. Rome last January seems a long time ago and a lot has happened since then. I'm really looking forward to what one of my work colleagues calls a fly and flop holiday - fly to your destination, flop on a sunbed!
Have a lovely day, enjoy the sunshine and catch up later.

Bit of Muse going on there I think. Not as good obviously but similar style.

Never heard of them tbh mate. Must be loads of bands out there I'd like. Glasto is a revelation for me every year.
I watched them support Muse in Belfast pre Covid. Do yourself a favour and explore.
Good band NBT I also seen them support Muse up in Glasgow. The new album 'Welcome to the DCC' is a bit different some dancy songs on it. Connor Mason the lead singer has a fantastic voice.

Morning guys. Hope you're all enjoying the weekend, at least we never lost I guess. Have a good day everyone.

No personal disrespect to Mr F, but I'd tell him over and over, and over again. Newcastle fans as a whole need reigning in a little bit.

@bigjonny, it won't happen, however I would like to see Beto up top, McNeil sat behind him (I think he'd do well as a no 10, with Danjuma and Harrison either side.

McNeil can drop in and let Onana or Doucouré charge on; it'd mean we'd have only two in the centre, so either one would need discipline, or swap with Gana.
