Good morning all on this cloudy day here in Finland .I hope all are well especially @summerisle as we want those videos .Nothing much going on other than mushroom picking and taking photos of the Juke to sell ,we have a free site and they value the cars for you I was shocked .It is a 2012 with the fast engine and fourwheel drive ,they valued it at 10,612 € if we get near that I will buy a bottle of the fizzy stuff .

There is distinct lack of G&T in yesterday's posts and we all know whose fault that is ! You can never find a cad when you want one .COYB
 
Morning all, the penultimate hot day if the forecast is correct. We are off to the ancestral home, Jorvik, on Monday for a few days. Our last two outings by train have been thwarted by industrial action so I’ve been keeping everything crossed for this trip, so far so good.
We’d love to visit Durham again whilst we are in area as we are halfway there already and possibly Scarborough, so also fingers crossed for some fine weather.🤞
Hope Mr F. is feeling better today @anjelikaferrett, enjoy your barbie.

Morning all, another beautiful morning here. I’m being very entertained by a robin in the garden. We have recently bought a garden mirror and this little robin for the past couple of days has been obsessed with his own image. At first it was v aggressive and was pecking the mirror and squawking, but now he’s doing little circuits from the tree to the plant pot up to the mirror to have a look and a little peck, then on top of the mirror then back to the tree. I hope it’s not doing it any harm mentally or physically!
The price of second hand cars went up here a lot a while back @blue1948 - we were thinking of going down to one car between us and selling mine, but when it came to it I just can’t part with my little car I love it too much. But the price I could have sold it for was very tempting.
Quiet day in the garden, then off to an 18th birthday party tonight. Have a great Saturday everyone.

Morning guys. Been a busy last few days so will catch up on the thread later. Had a trip into town on Thursday as needed to top up my supply of Harry Ramsden frozen fish. had some lunch, a few jars and also watched Equalizer 3 at the cinema. Definitely recommended and set in the Amalfi coast so lots of spectacular scenery too. yesterday I had the neighbours around for drinks and we enjoyed G&Ts in the sun. Sorry for no pics Blue but just had the cheap stuff out as Rob and Michele totally destroy their G&Ts with tonic. Actually made a very schoolboy error in my first top up by putting soda water in my drink rather than tonic (I had an open bottle in the fridge from my Mojito's the other day.) Definitely not recommended.

Not having my normal posh sausage butties for lunch today. I've decided to have an early barbie instead and will cook some nice pork ribs I got at the butchers on Thursday. My BBQ ribs are the stuff of legend. I simmer them in spices for a couple of hours and then make my own BBQ sauce and finish them off on the barbie. Of course I'll be throwing a few of my posh sausages on the barbie too. Criminal not to really. ;)

My new mates form the cruise have been keeping in regular contact with me. My scouse mates, my bouncer mate from Rugby and my two new lady friends from Glossop have all been in touch. Thinking of another cruise with the latter. They've booked one for the Canaries at the end of November but I'd prefer a Caribbean one in January and one of them has said she's up for it.

Good afternoon all. Overtime completed a couple of hours ago. I've filled the bird feeders up and put the beer in the fridge. We're waiting until a bit later to light the barbie - daughter is home from work at around 5 so we can time it with that. We've got burgers, sausages and corn on the cob. It really is hot today but thunderstorms forecast tomorrow.
I like your style @Barnfred 55 . Planning a cruise with your new mates! It's good to have things to look forward to.
