Morning all, bit misty here again this morning. I hadn’t realised that yesterday was the thread’s second anniversary. Karl would be so proud of his coffee shop, even though he preferred tea. lol
Quick update on the eye situation. After a chat with lovely consultant I opted to try a stronger prism in my glasses rather than surgery. The hospital are confident that this can be done by the optician. A trip to Specsavers yesterday to find they are not so optimistic, however they have ordered the new glasses and we have to wait to see. I emailed PALS regarding the receptionist and also asked that my “no show” be removed from my record.
Pleased to hear the injection was a success @Ducans elbow .

I see that Demz Gray had left the building. Did we offload the Adonis that is Andre or are the wives of Wavertree still rubbing their hands in anticipation?
Gorgeous here today so we went on a boat trip. Mrs J suggested the top deck so we could get some rays....bad decision! 30 minutes later and with the boat renamed rock and roll I descended shamefaced to the blue rinse brigade down below whilst Mrs J oblivious to the movement of the sea got sunburned.
Anyway eventually we got to a lovely little fishing village and restored to terra firma I was fully of the joys of spring.
Back off to Molyvos tonight my new BFF for some ambience , vino and nosh .

Normally only in Belfast for work but had to drop papers off today and decided to get a train so I could get an afternoon pint in the sun. I chose one of the oldest bars in the City (I like the music) and it was flooded with tourists.
The ‘Terror Tours’ are doing a roaring trade and it’s good craic with them about. Determined to do the Irish thing, bowls of stew were flying out despite it being 27 degrees

Andy G is still hanging in there - just. Shipping out the eye candy neeeds to stop - or at least replace like for like. However DCL is still with us so all is not lost. Sounds like you had a fun day.
Hi all. Our trip to Nottingham is off. Mr F appears to have had a relapse. He has got a really annoying cough and generally feels awful. I'm going to have to buy some Covid tests tomorrow to check he isn't positive. Hopefully he'll be better before we go away on 18th. So it's overtime for me instead but we've decided to have a barbie tomorrow. Only the second one this year. We have beer and I'm going to copy @Barnfred 55 and make mojitos.
As much as they drive me mad, it's a bit rubbish without Everton. I've watched England cricket team get thrashed by NZ. Mr F is watching the rugby world cup - that doesn't really float my boat.
My car is full is covered in dust. I noticed yesterday then I read that it has come over from the Sahara. It's hot enough to be the Sahara here tonight. All the windows are open and a giant daddy long legs has just flown in.
