Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I’m sure you’d agree with this @peteblue

Strangely enough I had a lad in Tuesday who said he’d been brewing for ten years. He’s now opening his own small craft brewery and wanted to know if we were interested. My view has always been to go local for our guest beers so I had a taster of two different beers over two nights. I’m really pleased that they tasted excellent and told him so. He’s going through the regulatory process of setting up, I signed up our pub with him and we’ll see how it goes. He’s a smashing lad and deserves all the support he can get, and I intend to give it……

Brilliant. Lovely story

@blue1948 OSMOTAR • SAHTI

TRADITIONAL FINNISH FARMHOUSE ALE• 7%

Have you ever tried this? , going to a new boozer tonight and noticed this on the website
I am not a real beer drinker ,it does sound intriguing with a strange finish .I hope you enjoy it ,lots of Finns have there own still as it is so remote they will never be caught ,saying that I know I lad who works in a wood yard and he has a distillery in his garage in one the most expensive areas in Finland not remote at all.
There are lots of prizes given to Finnish brewers and distillers ,I took a prize winning Gin to @Barnfred 55 and on getting home bought one myself and it was not a gin as you would know it ,we would never mix it with tonic .

Good morning. Just wanted to share this with you. Possibly the strongest Margarita I have ever had. It was awesome. We also found a lovely place to eat last night. Not that the others haven't been lovely but this one was really good. Two starters, two mains, bread, and two beers each €48. We're going back tonight.View attachment 228581
Yes Greece is cheap. We went to a restaurant in Molyvos called Martin's ( No1 rated) . The food was superb. Courgette flowers filled with rice and saffron to start , then a whole sea bass for me and briam for Mrs J . Yoghurt and honey for dessert with a bottle of wine and ( complimentary) coffee, €40 .

Fantastic value.

So pleased you are having a great time Anj.

Thunderstorms here today which is wonderful as I've hired a shredder for all the garden waste after loads of pruning.

In other news its pasta time tonight before we watch a Moody Blues tribute band. Should be fun.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Oh @anjelikaferrett the cocktails there are amazing, and the setting sun is just gorgeous. It looks like you’re having a fab time. I see we are getting thunder in the region today @jazzy so we’ll be dodging the showers as we get our stuff into the hotel. It’s still saying no rain tomorrow so it’s 🤞. Got a busy couple of days ahead so have a lovely weekend everyone. Im sure I’ll find a few people huddled round some earphones or a telly at tea time tomorrow 😂. I’m sure Josh has timed it for that 😂

Fingers crossed for the big day , we really need 3 points at Brentford but I can't see it.

Oh the nuptials well as Lou Reed says it will be a "Perfect Day" and the weather gods assure me that they will play ball.

Hope everything goes to plan and you have a wonderful day

Other than the sea bass, I would pay way more than £40 not to eat that 🤢

Thank you @jazzy - we’re out for a Greek meal tonight so if I can keep everyone off the ouzo we’ll be ok I’m sure 💙
