Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Simple plans for a simple fella!

Some music on for the next couple of hours then maybe find a movie. Busy day tomorrow so will be sipping a few beers rather than guzzling it Friday style.

Up to much yourself?
Music too. Just checking out a group called Black Honey on Spotify at the moment. One of their songs came up on my YouTube earlier that I quite liked.

Gonna switch to Joy Division in a mo. Fancy a bit of Ian Curtis

Discovered the One O’Clock Gun pub in Liverpool when I was over. Right on the Albert Dock, great music and a really friendly barman working. He had nailed the fine art of always working but at the same time always up for a chat. I hope his employers recognise what he brings to the place and pay him accordingly.
Did you manage to get to the Bridewell? Not easy to find.

Clara Amfo has been very supportive of Black Honey for a while and I nearly always agree with her recommendations. They had ‘Hottest Record’ a few weeks back.

Last Dinner Party got a plug from Q magazine this morning I should also add.

Have you tried the DJ feature on Spotify? Very inventive stuff.

No, didn’t make it there but did enjoy Denbigh Castle. It had a nice little crowd in about 12ish so we stayed for a couple.

Where is the Bridewell? I would say I know the City well enough but not familiar with the name at all.
On a side street near the bottom of Duke Street, not too far from the Hilton. It's an old police station/jail.
