A cold Mythos, when on a lovely Greek island, is a fine, wonderful experience. When I drank some here, I can honestly say it tastes like piss.

Horses for courses. On a more positive note, my son has gone to his friends and the girls are out, so we're off to town for lunch and a pint in the Bridewell.

I saw some Mythos in Home Bargains. Resisted the temptation to buy!

The first time I'd noticed Mythos was when I was on Rob's boat in Guernsey. He had a job lot of cans (which i don't normally go for) which he'd probably got from Lidl. I seem to remember it being surprisingly OK but that may have been the fact I was sitting on the back of a luxury motor launch in the sun lol. It then seemed to be the beer of choice when we went on that cruise of the Greek islands last year and, as others have said, it was perfectly acceptable in that arena.

By the way Anj, have you noticed that Sound Angela is running in the 1.30 at Newcastle today?

Hope everything is well, and I hope you've had a pleasant, peaceful morning. It's quite mild here today and the sun is shinning bright, so I've had a lovely walk.

The dog, who is currently doing her gun dog training, enjoyed herself too. Unfortunately, all youth football on grass is off again, which is frustrating the sun.

"But Dad, it's warm and sunny?" Trying to explain water retention in the ground and pitch maintenance didn't go down too well.

I am very well today thank you.

We had our kids football this morning but it was on 3G to be fair. Everton on the radio for me as I head up to Omagh to watch my club side play. I say that but it’s on TV and I am rather tempted to stay home and light the fire.

RTE2 on Sky at 7.15pm if you or anyone fancy watching a bit of the Ulster Championship.
