Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Haven’t been on much this week Folks but glad to now. Horrible week.

A horrific accident last weekend has torn the heart out of the county. I know both bereaved families and it’s not over yet sadly. Then an old school pal passed away and that ripped me. One of life’s true gentleman and the most inspiring Priest I have ever met. A couple of years older than me, loved his football (Celtic) but Armagh most of all. I have that funeral on Sunday to negotiate.

Add in a family funeral as well and it has been quite a time.

I’m stoic, not going to dwell on it here, just vented and that’s it.

Thank God it’s Friday and I can get a pint 🙂
You have been through the mill, so sorry t hear this. Enjoy your pint, raise a glass to happy memories.💙

I'm presuming that this is a hobby blue ( as opposed to actually needing a car for transport) in which case I suppose that it beats playing with a train set.
Does Mrs B enjoy your tinkering?
Yes it is a hobby , I wish it was ready as I love driving the car. Mrs B ! the less said the better as she is not the best pleased sometimes.

That's so sad. Much love x

Thanks to all Mascoteers. Enjoyed the drink but of course the emotion of it all hits you.

I am blessed with good people around me. No shame in having a moment and I am right behind them too.

Strong faith too
. Blessed to be given another early morning walk to enjoy the stars then in for a coffee.
"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me... shall never die." John 11

Hope everything is well, and I hope you've had a pleasant, peaceful morning. It's quite mild here today and the sun is shinning bright, so I've had a lovely walk.

The dog, who is currently doing her gun dog training, enjoyed herself too. Unfortunately, all youth football on grass is off again, which is frustrating the sun.

"But Dad, it's warm and sunny?" Trying to explain water retention in the ground and pitch maintenance didn't go down too well.

Morning all. Cold but sunny here. I've just filled up the bird feeders and I'm going to hang up my bee hotel later ( random purchase in Home Bargain)
I'm currently watching the cricket, England are doing OK, now it's too late, but Pakistan's fielding is shocking.
On the subject of beer I discovered Amstel Oro in Bilbao last year. It was amazing - round about 6% strength.
Have a good day everyone x

I loved Mythos on our recent travels. Alpha was a close second!
A cold Mythos, when on a lovely Greek island, is a fine, wonderful experience. When I drank some here, I can honestly say it tastes like piss.

Horses for courses. On a more positive note, my son has gone to his friends and the girls are out, so we're off to town for lunch and a pint in the Bridewell.
