Sorry to hear that H. One of my neighbour's Norfolk terriers died a few weeks ago and I cried, so god knows what your son's family are going through.
 
Morning guys. Or is it afternoon? lol Managed to find a 20 minute break in the wind and rain to pop up to my local shop and picked up a pasty for lunch. I've decided to try and lose a few more pounds over the winter months so I'm restricting myself to a pasty every two weeks at the moment. Also stocked up on my Spingo ale but shock horror, they were out of my usual posh sausages even though they only get the delivery Friday morning. I reckon the neighbour must have been in and emptied the shelves and stocked their freezer. He had some at a BBQ I did earlier in the year and now he's hooked. So I've had to slum it with the Rick Stein recipe ones this week:)

So sorry to hear this, I think most of us know the pain of losing a pet dog……
 

Housework and leaf collection today.

I've stopped doing mums cleaning and got somebody in instead. No Fred it's not because I'm lazy but I think it's good for mum , who never leaves the house, to have some outside contact.

It's working brilliantly. Mum gets in really well with het nattering away and the cleaner ( surprise surprise) does a much better job than me plus I'm helping the local economy so win win.

I'd love to say I'm looking forward to a glass of wine as it's Friday music night but of course I'm not drinking in November, bum!

Oh that’s heartbreaking 💔
 
Haven’t been on much this week Folks but glad to now. Horrible week.

A horrific accident last weekend has torn the heart out of the county. I know both bereaved families and it’s not over yet sadly. Then an old school pal passed away and that ripped me. One of life’s true gentleman and the most inspiring Priest I have ever met. A couple of years older than me, loved his football (Celtic) but Armagh most of all. I have that funeral on Sunday to negotiate.

Add in a family funeral as well and it has been quite a time.

I’m stoic, not going to dwell on it here, just vented and that’s it.

Thank God it’s Friday and I can get a pint 🙂
