I agree. Also considering daughter rents, the plumber must have some sort of contract with the company who owns the houses. So they are also not fulfilling their contract either. The plumber obviously got a more lucrative job elsewhere today. Still no excuse at mind you, just bad manners.
Hope she’s getting some rebate on her rent as compensation for the inconvenience.I agree. Also considering daughter rents, the plumber must have some sort of contract with the company who owns the houses. So they are also not fulfilling their contract either.
Great photos again, what a wonderful display . All grown from seed I suspect as wild / naturised start to fade in colour especially the bluesBeen to Cromer today, another example of a fading Victorian seaside resort but with what must be one of the best kept churchyards in the country.

I'd like to think so AT but in all honesty I find it just as expensive if not more to holiday in the UK than abroad. With the way prices are continuing to rise, it’s possible that these classic resorts may once again become good holiday spots. Our ever increasingly hotter summers could well contribute to a renaissance.
What a gorgeous cemetery and that echium ( centre of photo 2 ) is going to be huge. Can't grow them up here but you see loads growing wild in the more temperate climate of Cornwall etcBeen to Cromer today, another example of a fading Victorian seaside resort but with what must be one of the best kept churchyards in the country.

Had left knee replaced 5 yrs ago best thing I did
It’s no fun this getting old lark,
Agreed. When we went to Fowey the other week we said exactly the same thing.I'd like to think so AT but in all honesty I find it just as expensive if not more to holiday in the UK than abroad.
Ah yes , that was the old theory about picking dandelions when I was a kid, as ever there’s a vague connection to the truth in these things! They aren’t known as ‘p*** the bed’ for nothing!
Sadly true about Ireland as well and of course no guarantee of weather etc. Dublin has become incredibly expensive, particularly if you have to stay over.I'd like to think so AT but in all honesty I find it just as expensive if not more to holiday in the UK than abroad.
Always trust what your elders tell you as they have been there and done that. Off tangent, a lecture I went to about place names recently said the experts always talk to the oldest person they can find when researching. The reason is that their pronunciation is almost always closer to the original Irish version before names were anglicised during the plantation. Old farmers in particular were cited as essential for being able to map Townlands.Ah yes , that was the old theory about picking dandelions when I was a kid, as ever there’s a vague connection to the truth in these things!
