Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Afternoon everyone,

Just cooked mum her lunch. Mrs J was out so I cooked her sea bass fillets with crushed new potatoes. When I took it over mum said " I thought she was out " Yes I cooked it mum. So she tried it , "You're a liar " was her reply. You can't win sometimes.

Anyway housework done , grass cutting this PM and then off to my end of season table tennis meal and piss up.

All you can eat Indian banquet for only £20. What could possibly go wrong ?

Have a lovely day everyone.

Good afternoon all on this fine day ,every day is fine at the moment despite the weather .I hope all are well and had a good morning !
Still on a high after the win ,after too many times to count I am not a gloater were Everton are concerned -I have eaten my words so often ,nevertheless I had to send that link to my mate here in Finland ,with the message of how entitled they are and how they should have been in our shoes this last few seasons .COYB

You are having a busy day Jazzy. Enjoy the end of year meal, sounds like you deserve it……

Daisy has hurt her paw on the way home from the chemist and I can't see anything embedded, she wouldn't let me carry her but she can't put weight on it and has only just managed to settle.

Nothing out of the ordinary happened she just started limping. I hope it's nothing, I can't afford the vet, I do have insurance like but I don't get paid until the 6th.

Fingers crossed she's ok later or it'll have to be a vet visit I guess 😔

Sorry to hear that, as you say, fingers crossed……

Hope she’s ok. If you think she’s got something in her paw try putting some magnesium sulphate paste on ( you can get it cheap from the chemist just an couple of quid) and wrap it up so she can’t lick it etc. It should draw out whatever’s in there. That said my Rosie, who was a drama queen, used to limp for attention and miraculously recover. She might be better in the morning 🤞

Treated myself to this thing of beauty tonight. At 11% proof I will only be having one, but strangely I’m still in celebratory mood after the Derby 🎉. Talking Heads are the feature on the telly tonight so another good friday on the cards. Cheers everyone have a great evening 💙

It definitely wasn't attention it was really hurting her, she couldn't put it down, it took us ages to limp home. I'll be taking her for her evening toilet stop soon so I will find out. I'll just take her out the back on the grass if she can't walk. I'll have to borrow some money if I can and try that paste, I have bandages. The joys of not working, bloody skint and I had to spend my last few quid on painkillers because I had a nightmare with my prescription last week, I thought I'd put it in but it hadn't gone through so I had no headache pills and I can't not have any my headaches are way too intense.

Thanks for the tip Val.

She's fast asleep now, took her ages to settle because of it.

When Goodison is like that and the fans are right behind the players we feel almost invincible.

I remember the Bayern night as if it was last week but the day of our derby victory the other day was the 39th anniversary of that famous win. The fans were like that that night, too.
Was on the Street End for that one. I am going to guess in camera shot for the second half goals. Probs in black and white so my ginger locks wouldn’t show
