Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good news today. Chris got his tissue results back. They removed 9 lymph nodes, and 4 had melanoma. The results have shown that the melanoma cells were all in the middle of the lymph nodes and had not extended beyond the edges. So, it is very unlikely to have spread. He is seeing his surgeon about his foot next Thursday ( they have scheduled a dressing change as well so everything is fresh for the wedding ❤️) . So if the surgeon is happy everything is out then that's it. He will have to have a follow up scan to fully make sure and an oncology referral. They might offer radiology or immunology as a belt and braces option. I am so happy and so relieved x
Oh that's absolutely fantastic news - perhaps reverse your no drinking policy for a small celebration ?

I was at the game in Rotterdam there is even a photo of myself and a bloke on here at the game, no names but he does like a g+t on a Friday, I should try to find it I think it was posted on here a while ago
Ask and I shall provide ;)
View attachment 152034Had a great night reminiscing the old days last night. Everybody was passing around old photos they had on their phone. Somebody brought out a photo of some Speke lads we all knew taken with Duncan McKenzie in Rotterdam 1985. I didn't realise what it was at first but when it sunk in I knew that I was with them. That's me I exclaimed. Second left on the top. No way haha. I was that pissed I don't even remember it being taken.

That is really a very very special photo to me. Always said that day was my second best day out ever after my wedding day. And Dunc was my hero.

Can't help feeling Cal pulled a blinder there. I didn't even know that picture existed. And it looks like I'm wearing an Everton hat. I've never owned an Everton hat in

Fantastic news. Delighted for you all.

Good morning all on this extremely sunny day ,I am just back from the bone marrow thing ,google is great but sometimes it would be better not to read too much ,it was quite bad but if I had to do it again for a transplant to help someone I would not blink .I told the doctor it was no worse than a hammer on my head ! I just have a dead leg from the anesthetic .As @Val P said they are doing it to find out what is happening ,as of now they are not sure why the marker on my kidney blood test is high . I hope all slept well and have a great day and it would be nice to hear from @Terrarian to let us all know he is better .COYB
Good to get the procedure over you and hopefully you won’t wait too long for results. You are always a busy man with something to keep your mind occupied which is good.

Come on guys.

If Everton were safe in mid table and playing Arsenal in the last game of the season , going head to head with the RS for the title I'd want Everton to lose that match every day of the week.

Postecoglu has never been a fan with deeply bedded rivalries so can't understand the fans opinion.
He did manage Celtic remember and there is no worse rivalry in football. No doubt those fans would have been exactly the same as Spurs last night.

Take your point, I still wouldn’t want Everton to lose but wouldn’t be too unhappy if they did. Spurs were in with a chance of fourth place and their fans still wanted them them to lose.

I can understand why Ange was angry. A fourth placed finish and the riches it brings would have been some boost to him in his role. Plus, the fan shouting at him to throw the game wouldn’t get away with not turning up for his own job.

Glad your procedure went well, keeping my fingers crossed for a good outcome.

Hope they get to the root of the problem mate.

If you had to be a donor in the future you wouldn't have to go through the same procedure. You can do a stem cell collection from your bloods which is a lot less intrusive.

Anyway fingers crossed for a positive outcome.

Spurs still had a realistic chance of Champions League if they won. Absolute crazy to give up that just to stop Arsenal winning the league. I'm not surprised their manager lost it.

Same situation as us in Martinez first season when we had a chance of fourth place and most on this forum wanted us to lose at home to City.

I suppose I could understand it if there was absolutely nothing at stake, but even then I'd still want us to win mate.
