Hello everybody. What a gorgeous day it is again. Did overtime this morning - it was like pulling teeth but it's done now.
Full on countdown now to Bruce and the wedding. We're in less than two weeks timescale. Chris seems to be doing well, no results yet but everything else is recovering nicely. I am therefore allowing myself to become excited about both events! I might even book a holiday if Chris's results are good and the only further treatment required is preventative - what his consultant described as ' belt and braces'.
Off to sit in the sunshine for a bit x

Happy birthday to @Vegas Toffee Girl , I hope you are well.
Well it looks like I’m in a minority of 1 when it comes to Eurovision . I think it’s just good fun and not to be taken seriously- to be part of it last year in Liverpool was a joy. I don’t take my music too seriously anyway and respond to songs on an individual basis- doesn’t matter to me who is singing them. I think that’s why my Spotify playlist goes from the sublime to the ridiculous.
Just had a bit of thunder here and some much needed rain for the garden. So glad you can start to feel excited @anjelikaferrett, the build up is such fun and stress in equal measure.
I watched Baby Reindeer in full. I find it interesting to try and understand how and why people behave as they do and this was based on a true story. My husband hated it though.
Maybe it’s just me who’s weird .

Good morning all on this overcast morning .I hope all are well and rested after a good night . I am one of those who don't watch Eurovision ,not because of the music but I felt the voting was rigged /done by fools and so what was the point . Off shopping and to the garage as the OBD2 through up tens of fault codes -the mechanic has hopefully forgot to reset it . For @jazzy it has nothing to do with spark plugs .Is anyone watching the second series of Belgravia ? I will return late COYB

Well after a night of storms I awoke to a lovely sunny day with the air much fresher. More rain forecast for tonight, the perfect combo.

Mum's big shop , gym and gardening on the schedule today.

Be interesting to see what Everton financial news we get in the week ahead.

Great news from @anjelikaferrett about Chris and fingers crossed that the test results confirm this.

Following the BAFTAs and the chat on here about TV shows I have to confess that I've watched none of them and by the sound of how dour and gritty the subject matter is I think we will stick to Bargain Hunt and MasterChef.

Morning all, bit cloudy at the moment but another fine day forecast here. Like @jazzy we haven’t watched any of those programmes either. Watched the Piano on Channel 4 last night which was filmed at Edinburgh Waverley railway station, great pianists including 10 year old Sam, who is just the cutest kiddie and brought back memories of our trip last year. Relaxing way to spend an hour on Sunday evening. Have a good day, all.

Two consecutive Ulster Final defeats on penalties for Armagh and I am absolutely gutted. That the penalty kick was invented by an Armagh man makes it all the more galling.

Not much to report today - the weather is still lovely. I'm sitting outside as I write this. I love this time of year - long light nights. We've had no rain at all so I've been out and watered everything. We're growing tomatoes, spring onions, radish, potatoes, carrots, strawberries and corn this year.
