Morning all, weather is a bit ropey at the moment, cloudy and drizzling. Hope it clears as we are going to a charity funday at village pub nearby. Our friend’s band (he’s the drummer) is playing in the beer garden this evening, I may need to take a blanket .
Think they will be doing cover songs today but here’s one of their original songs from a few years ago.

Good afternoon everyone. I hope you are having a good Saturday. I did overtime this morning and have not done much since. The sun is out but it is very windy. I'm watching the T20 at the moment.
I did book us a holiday yesterday. We are going to the Cape Verde Islands at the end of August for 11 nights. I am so looking forward to it. Of course immediately after I did that, the washer packed in and the cat fell off the fence - she's the clumsiness feline in the world! So trip to the vet - she has a bruised swollen back and a guy coming out to look at the washer on Monday. I'm destined never to have spare cash!
I really hope the Dell consortium buy Everton. It could be the light at the end of a very long dark road.

If you need a new machine consider an LG we are on our second in 25 years ,the special thing is that you can install an app on your phone and it tells what is wrong when it breaks .

Ooofff, poor cat sounds like our Junior , he looks petrified when he’s on top of the fence. His sister Daisy is much nimbler and smarter. I got up this morning to see the two of them looking at me through the internal kitchen door. Crikey, did I forget to put them out last night? The house was freezing , explained by the conservatory door being wide open . I’d forgot to lock it last night and Daisy must have done her trick of leaping up onto the handle and opening the door, letting them both in . Those of us who remember Corporal Jones of Dad’s Army should read this story with his voice in mind , as it ends in a typical Cpl Jones way : “ Hence the expression “ Cat Burglar “”!

All this Dell stuff reminds me of my favourite joke I used to tell at work - I switched my computer on this morning and it kept playing Rolling in the Deep on repeat. I couldn’t get it to stop so I rang IT and they said - don’t worry it’s a Dell.

Holiday plans sound fab @anjelikaferrett will look forward to hearing about it. Nice to see Wigan have won the rugby league challenge cup for a record 22 times. I used to follow them home and most away games until I met Mr P who converted me (no pun intended) from an egg chaser. Got the most amazing view from our accommodation on our second island- bliss
