Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Hello all. To my surprise an email appeared in my inboc this afternoon - a grovelling apology from Yui, a secure link to give them my bank details and a promise that the matter would be resolved within 14 days. I feel quite proud of myself.
I've spent most of the day tracking down my Irish relatives as I intend to apply for an Irish passport. My British one runs out in August next year. I think I've got all the information I need, now to apply for the birth/death/marriage certificates and then the actual passport. I'm quite excited at the prospect of being in the EU again.
Keep us up to date with the passport application. Fascinating to see how it’s done for the first time for someone not actually born on the sod.

The online renewal service is great I must say, won’t apply to you for a while yet though!

I have to put myself on the Register of Foreign Births which is why I need proof of my grandparents birth/ marriage/death and also my Dad's birth certificate ( he was the only one of his siblings who was born in Liverpool). Once I've got the evidence it all seems quite straightforward.

Just like getting a delayed flight compensation ? What could go wrong .

Morning all ,on this dark morning here . I don't remember how or certainly why but we have watched MAFSUK current series ,the only reason keeping me watching is pity . Oh and wanting to see if my forecast of who will make it is anywhere near . We don't watch any of those sort of programs and I can't see it happening again . Off to the shops today for provisions we are eating from the fridge and freezer this weekend a practice the wife forces on me periodically as I am a hoarder of food ,just in case we have a hard time and money is short ! Amazing how your childhood might set the path for the rest of life .
Have a great day .COYB

I honestly thought it would be more complex than that but it is refreshing that people aren’t made to jump through hoops.

For my renewal, I didn’t even need my photo signed at all, just had to upload a new one online. I was very impressed by the convenience of the service.

And what would that be blue? Surely not Married at first sight UK as my Google suggests? There must be a book in the house you haven’t read yet man!

Morning chums,

Incredibly foggy here today .

Mrs J back about 6pm so need to do a big clean up before she gets back 😂 - actually the house isn't too bad.

However do need to do a quick clean , change the bedding, make the tea ( spicy bean casserole) , cook for mum , sort the animals out and , most importantly, attend a care appointment/ visit for mum.

Oh and I need to squeeze in my daily visit to the gym so won't have much time to chat to y'all today.

Anyway, whatever you do have a lovely day everyone.

Well I hate to admit it but yes it is ,for fear of upsetting someone I won't go on but I feel so sad for the people on there and the ordeal they are made to have ,even if they vote to leave if the other one doesn't then they have to stay and as so many are just there to get their faces on TV it is a farse .Saying that the three "experts" are as thick as two short planks and seem to give hope to the poor sods .

It looks absolutely stunning - and very clean, no litter etc. I’m not sure how I would cope with the cold though.
Yes it is cold at times but it was also so warm this summer .Litter is the one thing that visitors comment upon as it is almost absent here .They use students and I believe prisoners to clear the motorways in spring of any but in the cities it is well looked after all year long ,we also very rarely see graffiti but there are murals on buildings funded by the council. I hope you heard the clip that said it is voted the best place to live year after year .

Have never seen it at all. However, the premise of getting your name on social media and making your fortune is all too familiar. It’s a different world than I grew up in. It’s in many ways a more brutal world too in that you are judged and in many cases ridiculed by people all around the world for the slightest indiscretion. Gone are the days when the nights out become folklore and not recorded for all eternity.

Stephen King predicted it all in ‘The Running Man’.
