That was the University I went tooWe started at City Hall, went around the Harland and Wolf Dock, past the Titanic Museum then the University. After that we drove through Shankill Road and Crumlin Road, saw lots of murals and the peace walls built by the army in the 1960s - to keep the two communities apart. There was a lot of stuff. From there to Titanic then you really did see all of the City Centre. If you aren’t used to it, it’s an eye opener to see how both communities lived/live cheek by jowl with only murals to demarcate them at times. In fact, where your hotel is situated is right on what would have been a boundary point. Things are much much calmer now of course but good to bring history to life.
