There is definitely something going on ,that cannot be coincidence .The BBQ looked something to behold ,did you have to eat the curry with a shell? When we had Indian guests they prepared a curry and we had to eat with our hands .I am all for authenticity ,even if it gets under your fingernails .I did see the finger bowls ! Did they call those lobsters crayfish?

Good morning all on this beautiful bright morning ,don't need breakfast after those photos of Freds . My only problem is he isn't doing the Judith Chalmers bit ,I mean what are the gins like ? What was his Cal's meal like ? In order for us to have no need to visit a comprehensive tasting is required !

Yeah the only eating accessories were mussels shells and your fingers. Very messy. They did provide finger bowls though.
The crayfish are essentially lobsters but without the claws.

Sorry my updates aren't meeting your expectations Blue. The meal out at the steakhouse was fantastic again and we'll be going back again before I return. The gins are not local. We bought them on the way out and are having them with cheap tonic as Rob doesn't like the taste (or cost) of Fevertree. But still a G&T at the end of the day. I missed G&T Friday last night as I was still pissed from the beach barbie.
My turn to cook today. We're having a barbie this afternoon then Rob and I are going to T20 this evening rather than next week. Cape Town playing Jo'burg tonight.
Tomorrow morning we're going on a boat trip then Monday on a mini safari so keeping busy.

Nice beach 3 minute walk from the villa but the sea is bloody freezing.
Some place you have seen ,imagine you might have refused .How is the water colder than Kernow ? Is it just that the ambient temp is so much higher ? Which leads me to the lack of temperature info!
