Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all on this cold day here -17° but at least we have a clear sky .I hope all are well and had a good night ,well we gone from strength to strength as the team gets weaker .This very unfamiliar territory this looking forward to games and believing we could get a result ! I have to say I am sipping from the cup of joy that Moyes keeps filling .have a great day all COYB
It’s marvellous that we are on course to enjoy our last games at Goodison in a carnival atmosphere and not in a panic looking points.

Anj, you know the type as a Union Rep. an out of their depth manager who picks someone to bully as an attempt to appear strong.

I have made a living out of Tribunals v Civil Service on both sides of the house.
Absolutely. And it is always the ones who are out of their depth in a managerial role. They might be good technicians at the day job but no skills at people management.

Hi folks. I've had a very productive day so far. Overtime this morning then a huge clear out of my clothes. Three binbags full of don't like, don't fit and, shamefully, never worn. I took them to the charity bins at Tesco so The Salvation Army can hopefully make us of them.
Daughter is moving put in a couple of weeks. I went to see the house she has rented yesterday, it's only about 20 minutes walk away from us. It is lovely. She spent the afternoon organising utilities, insurance, internet, buying a washer and a fridge freezer. "I hate being an adult" she said. 🤣
I've been thinking about Everton, Dyche and Moyes overnight. I'm wondering if Dyche lost the team when he clipped Patterson round the head. You just don't do that- even as a joke. I now think we've been lacking in managers with people management skills. Koeman was a bully, as was Benitez. Dyche seems to be cut from the same cloth. I'm not sure about Silva ( he is the one I thought we let go too soon) Lampard was just rubbish. Martinez and Don Carlo ( sigh, I miss the Italian knitwear collection) were probably the only two who actually possessed the so called soft skills since Moyes last left.
Hoping for a draw in the ManU Spurs game.

I think this is really important for the fans. Players come and go, but the fans need to enjoy the final days of our beloved ground…..
Being physically detactched from Goodison and the games I still have a psychological pull that defies reason but I don't have the banter / vicious comments from people around so it is the ones who attend that I am so glad for with this upsurge in performances .

Morning all on this exciting day! Mr P’s birthday- meal out in Liverpool this afternoon with friend and family, Bramley Moore test event and overnight at the Titanic- do Mondays come any better. Hotel is fully booked - no surprise there - so we are going early to try and get a parking space at the hotel as there is a parking exclusion zone and roads closed around the ground from 4pm I think.
Just to prove I’m not mean only buying him a £2.50 ticket for tonight, I’ve paid for him to have his car remapped- waste of money if you ask me but he’s delighted so happy days.
Have a great day everyone. There’s no WiFi in the ground tonight but I’ll put some pics up of the ground when I can 💙
