Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Hello folks...alll I can say is "What a Thread" Not posted before, but have followed it since Karl's first post in Sept. At the start of the year I was trying to cope with my younger brothers illness (oseophagal cancer) from which he died in early April. There was only 15 months between us in age. I was the eldest of 4 children and I could not quite get my head around being the only one left. Coupled with my own deteriorating health problems (lung fibrosis), I was not in the best of places. BUT...with the help of my other half Jeanie and my sons I slowly started to recover. And then I saw Karl's first post. Oh My! The responses to him from eveyone was inspiring and helped me realise that there is more love than hate in our world. Especially support for @roydo and @Banfred55 after their sad losses. As Leonard Cohen said........."There is a crack in everything where the light gets in" That light is Karl/Messy reminding all of us that there is no end to a life.....His spirit wiil live on in here............?
??????
I've had a good Christmas day with my immediate family but I've just read your post and it's brought me right back to earth.
I'm really sorry for your loss mate that must have been a tough one but glad you have a supportive partner and you've gained some comfort from this thread.
The best of luck recovering from your own illness and I hope you and your family can enjoy the rest of the festive season, I hope all of you that are still up had as good a day as you could possibly have had, goodnight and God bless ?

Sass. I've just been dancing on my own to Gary Numan for 5 minutes. That's pissed?

Not sure what you're upto but Google him live. Anything post 2000 is brilliant. He's a proper artist.

Good for you! I absolutely love dancing, it always brightens my day to shake it for a bit.

I just checked Gary Numan on Spotify and now I’m wondering what song were you dancing to since some if his tunes are so diverse. But I could shake my booty to “Pray for you”

Forget Spotify. There's some great live videos on Google. The one I'm watching is 2008 Manchester. You can't not dance to his music.

Are Friends Electric is probably his most famous but Cars is my favourite.
