Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

That’s cheered me up no end after watching the first half our match.
It’s a bit grim isn’t it …
I gave up about ten minutes into the second half.
Well I know not all agree but 33 games against chelsea and no win for Moyes ,still picked the same lame ducks ( one of whom gave the ball away for the goal) now the Moyesia has lost as many games as he has won . I am so angry at the players he keeps playing that it hurts ,our season is not over ! We need all the funds we can get in the summer and Dukes went for an afternoon stroll at 76 I feel I would be more productive than him . I would like to know Bainsey's thoughts as he seems to offer litlle when the camera pans to the management team deciding who to put on .
Before anyone says well the subs made a difference -then put them on at the start !
Have a lovely evenng all :)
Our season finished weeks ago when it became clear that we were safe .

There is a massive lack of quality in our squad especially when you compare it with teams like Chelsea , Arsenal etc.

If this team goes "toe to toe " with those teams we get annihilated so Moyes plays pragmatic football to keep us in the game and a chance of picking up something.

The problem is that , by and large , Moyes plays the same way against every other team.

Moyes has always been safety first, I'm sorry but you know what you are going to get with Moyes. It's miles better than under Dyche but boy what a low bar that is.

We will see steady , unspectacular improvement under him and unless we have pots of money to spend he is our best bet right now.

Morning everyone,

Sorry y'all so depressed by the football but what did you expect?

Sadly it will get a lot worse today and will last for the next few weeks whilst the media celebrates and laudes the RS and venerate Slott , Dick Van Dijk and Salad.

Might watch the 2nd semi final today , might continue the gardening.

Happily the cricket season has started and spent a lovely few hours yesterday supporting the village team who won an exciting , high scoring match by only 7 runs in the final over. A beer , packet of crisps and amateur players trying their hardest , who can ask for more.

As I posted earlier Moyes is doing his best with our lot but it is staggering and disheartening to see how such poor players can be paid so much for producing so little.

Anyway after 6 weeks off I will return to table tennis practice next week in the hope that I can overcome my age again next season 😂. I think I've been lined up to practice again a 10 year old who has just been selected to play for England! Should be fun but at least he can run around picking the balls up and save my back 😆.

Weather forecast is wonderful for the next week so I think I will be watering and gardening.

Whatever you do have a lovely day everyone.

Good morning all. It's a lovely day here. The big news is that we have comfy seating! Our sofas arrived yesterday- as did some garden furniture that needed assembling. I feel that I am suffering from a previously unrecognised condition-PFPTSD ( post flat pack traumatic stress disorder). I never want to see one again. Mr F is slightly less useful than a chocolate teapot in these matters. I don't know how he spent his whole working life in engineering and manufacturing. He looks at an. allen key like it is an ancient alien artefact. Many curse words were exchanged, the garden furniture remains unassembled but today is a new day.
Last night we watched Ghostbusters Afterlife. It is a proper sequel to the original Ghostbusters and is very good. Confession here -;the original film is probably in my top 10 favourite films.
How disappointing were Everton yesterday? Chelsea's goalie did make a couple of really good saves but that was about it. Of all the loanees and out of contract players I think I would only keep Gaye and Doucoure. I'm just hoping that Arsenal win the Champions league to take the attention off the Premier League winners.
Chris and Sophie are going home today, we are going to see Frankie later and probably have garden furniture Round 2.
Have a nice day all
Edit: Forgot to mention that I had a cartoon style moment yesterday of looking down the hosepipe to see why it was not working and got absolutely soaked. I had to change my top!

Regarding your hosepipe accident...for some strange reason The Kinks Sunny Afternoon sprung to mind 😂

Could you do it again but get a video of it… 😂…..

Have you listened to the new Sterophonics album mate, or do you still have some pins left you haven't stuck in your eyes yet.?😀

The first track is classic Stereophonics and I'm thinking hold on. But it goes very quickly downhill from there. It's basically a C&W album. The Manics album is far better.
No I haven’t got around to it and you certainly aren’t selling it to me with the C&W description.

I’m not depressed by it, far from it tbh. I expected zero points in April so 4 is an improvement on that. I just hope they show up for our last 2 home games cos that would be too much if they didn’t.
Hope you’ve enjoyed the sunshine 🌞 and lots more to come apparently

Evening everyone, such a lovely afternoon decided to take a trip over to Stamford. Had a potter around the antiques centre and then called in Spoons for a non alcoholic cider. My friend, an accomplished cider drinker, says non alcoholic cider is a contradiction in terms, that’s the polite way of putting it - she has used less ladylike language. Anyway for anyone who may be interested and with a bit of spare time here’s a video about Stamford which includes a visit to said branch of Spoons and also our favourite coffee shop.

Good morning all on this overcast day here .I hope all are well and tha Pete is back asleep or having a nightcap wine ,it is 12 somewhere in the world . Off to the shops again Monday's the day to get more PG tips .
The normal shops have lots of different teas but we really prefer them so we get them stocked by our middle eastern goods /halal shop that is also the source of minced lamb as we can't find that anywhere near other than there .Lamb is very expensive compared to my memories in the UK ,it is much dearer than pork or beef ,not wagu for sure but the common cuts .
Have a great day all and avoid the killers all yu can ,I just don't answer my phone as there is only one I am in contact with .COYB
