I see our horror of a manager has been at it again. Spouts out in press conference that Digne has told him he wants to leave Everton. Well firstly, what do you 'kin expect the way you have treated him. And secondly, even if he has said that, you had absolutely no right telling the whole world you absolute blurt. That will undoubtedly turn an element of our fan base against the player, and we know full well that, all too often, transfers don't always turn out as you expect. It isn't beyond the realms of possibility that Digne is still here come February. Benitez is such a horrid man. I really can't understand how any of our fans still support him.
That's right out of order. He is horrible.

Just getting a bit of deja vu there so if I've mentioned this to you before just ignore me. It's the little grey cells, as Cal's mum used to say. lol
Come on Fred ,I really don't want Rafael but it seems there are two sides ,of course here it seems a chicken and egg situation but the facts still remain that FSW is the flavour of the month and the press goaded him into it . If it is true that Lucas doesn't want to play for HIM then there is no other way , other than paying his wages and watching him depreciate in value and the club being had over a barrel over his fee.
I don't want it either but I will say I think this new lad looks promising and more important at the moment is he wants to play for the club.

By the way, I saw an advert for a new TV show last night and know where your avatar comes from now.
2 things.
Papa Carlo left and the big bad Benitez with whom he had previously crossed swords replaced him.
He loves Ancelotti and I was slightly surprised that he didn't follow him back to Madrid.
And , surprise , surprise Benitez had previously scapegoated James when at Madrid , so he was never going to stay here.
It would have been lovely for the fans to have seen him at Goodison. That sublime touch and pass for Richarlison's goal at the pit.
But we are where we are . Digne is the latest in a long line to fall foul of the buffoon. In fact it's no longer called throwing a player under the bus , no now it is you've been Benitezed.
Blue where is the evidence that Digne refused to play.
He said he was ill , how do we know that's not the case.
He has been an exemplary professional. Now Benitez turns up there are problems. Look how Benitez is a serial offender at falling out with players and scapegoating them.

I don't believe it is a chicken and egg situation Blue, although I will concede that the relationship between the two has become untenable, and ultimately one of them has to go. So Digne leaving at some stage is now inevitable unless the board has a remarkable and swift change of heart on Benitez.
But that's a different discussion for another day. What is maddening about this is that whatever has gone on between Benitez and Digne should stay within the club, not blurted out to the press. He's been dropping little snidey comments about his attitude for a couple of weeks now culminating in this disclosure today. There is only one reason for this and that is to deflect blame away from himself and on to the player, because he knows that Digne is one of our best players and popular with the fans. It is totally unprofessional and the last thing I expect from any Everton manager.
The chances are that Digne could still be with us come the end of the transfer window, and if he is, large portions of the fan base will be against him because of the managers comments today. It's just wrong in every way.
