Out of commission cleaning the house and then welcoming our guest who are going to house sit. I only found out about the sacking when a mate messaged me and I picked up the message at 7pm.

It was inevitable and a ridiculous appointment in the first place , bound to fail. I'm surprised it happened so quickly and that a defensive coach couldn't organise us.

I dread the thought of Martinez. He plays wonderful cavalier football but can't set up a team to defend and I think we would continue to be too easy to play against.

However if you were a creative or attacking player you would love playing under him.

It is a dangerous time. Moshiri has to make the right decision.

I'd be inclined to make Dunc the caretaker and make an appointment in the international break.

Transfer wise I'd try to get in a defensive midfielder on loan. Gana would be ideal.

I agree, Moshiri needs to get it right for the upcoming manager, specially after the big mistake he made by hiring Benitez. I’m also for Duncan taking over for now, we don’t need to be rushing through another appointment.

View attachment 152034Had a great night reminiscing the old days last night. Everybody was passing around old photos they had on their phone. Somebody brought out a photo of some Speke lads we all knew taken with Duncan McKenzie in Rotterdam 1985. I didn't realise what it was at first but when it sunk in I knew that I was with them. That's me I exclaimed. Second left on the top. No way haha. I was that pissed I don't even remember it being taken.

That is really a very very special photo to me. Always said that day was my second best day out ever after my wedding day. And Dunc was my hero.

Can't help feeling Cal pulled a blinder there. I didn't even know that picture existed. And it looks like I'm wearing an Everton hat. I've never owned an Everton hat in my life ?

So that's me in front of the E ginger or strawberry ?‍ when we had a team to be proud of
best day of my life being an Evertonian, I know of a few blokes from that picture

On what is termed the ‘bluest’ Monday of the year, one of my kids has tested positive. He’s in decent form though, just really tired.

You can’t isolate from a child so I guess this will be my turn too.
