I do that. Fill in any awkward silences with any old rubbish and can't stop! I can even hear myself telling me to stop talking.

My niece suggested I ask my brother. Not considered him tbh. I love him but not sure I’d want to spend 2 weeks with him. Now he is a proper know it all Jazz. There are also a couple we've met regularly on other cruises who we've become friends with. Rich as Creosus but really nice and down to earth. They've just been kicked off a cruise for testing positive and should have been away for another 6 weeks so they want to do something in the summer for a change. They have one of these large American trailer homes and usually cruise in the winter and travel Eurooe in the summer. Wouldn't harm to ask. They are the sort who might say yes.

Anyway, what are you doing on June 10th Anj ?
 
Well good morning all , a bit late but we went shopping to avoid the crowds ,I hope all have great Benitez free day ,what could possibly go wrong ,oops .
Sorry to hear more are getting the signs ,let us hope they are no more than that .
@jazzy it is only a short time and they probably feel the same ,you are lucky to get them what with a menagerie and your mum .They must have an interest in animals that they share with you ! I hope Mrs J is OK but if not would you get a refund ? That might be a blessing .
No sign of drunken @Barnfred 55 yet I see .So nice that he got that photo and could share it ,it has proved to be quite popular and so great memories .
 
Good morning all. The healthy eating campaign starts today. Feeling quite motivated. Got weighed this morning.OMG! Move over Dumbo, there's a new elephant in town ( without the ability to fly ) but I'm quite well motivated. Dust, we'll just be eating dust! Have developed a shocker of a cold since yesterday. Full on runny nose, coughing, sore throat. Tested myself yesterday and today but both negative. Hopefully @jazzy Mrs J has just got cold too. There does seem to be a lot of it about.

???. Go with the rich ones. I fully understand the brother thing. I love mine dearly too but Jeez spending two weeks in a confined space with him would be hard work. I recently helped him with an employment issue he had. Won him £12k in a settlement before it went to ET so all good. However if my members had behaved like he did towards me I would have lasted about two weeks as a union rep instead of 22 years!

@Armaghtoffee really sorry to hear covid has reached your household, hope everyone is OK.

So sharing your house is so much hard work. Got my cousin up from Plymouth to look after animals , mum and house whilst we are away.

He and gay partner arrived yesterday with their 2 dogs and all 4 are getting on great.

Cat has moved in with mum though.

The place no longer feels your own. The 2 blokes are nice enough but sadly I have nothing in common with them. They don't like sport , music , politics or literature!

Bad news is Mrs J has started sniffling. Probably just a bit of a cold but guess we will find out on Wednesday with our PCR tests!

No idea what I'm going to do today . Staying away from the gym to avoid infection and nothing to do work wise in the house. Might tidy and reorganise my shed.

Head's not great but thanks for asking. Just as well I had that greasy spoon breakfast on Saturday morning. The next time I ate was 3.30 Sunday at the family lunch. That was nice. There were 9 of us and we all had a fine time. We don't get together that often but always have a great time when we do.

Burying Cal's ashes on Saturday was both emotional and, in a strange way quite amusing too. I'd left my brother in law on ashes duty whilst I returned to Cornwall. They come in a small cardboard box which he didn’t think was appropriate so bought a wooden casket to put them in. We'll this thing was huge, it was like a dwarf coffin, and he had to dig down about 2 feet to fit it in. It took him the best part of an hour and he was absolutely knackered. All the time me keeping dixie to make sure nobidy saw us. We must have looked like a couple of grave robbers.?
