Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

You are partially right Fred.

I'm not sure that I'd go so far as to say I was a musical snob but I am lazy at exploring new bands / genres and definately prefer music that I am comfortable and familiar with.

Undoutedly my taste in music has changed / mellowed as I get older.

Back in the day I loved punk but I just couldn't be arsed listening to it now.

I much prefer melodic stuff , I even gone off some prog rock that I used to like.
I've probably come full circle and getting back into the heavier stuff again.

If you get the chance listen to an album by Beth Gibbons which I think you may like. I think it's called Lives Outgrown. It has all kinds of weird instrumentation on it ala Paddy Bush and I think it would sound great on your system.

Good morning all on this yet dark day here .I hope all are well after a fine sleep .
A splendid day beckons as there is no Everton game ,I watched Sean's presser and it was the same evasive dribble blaming the last five years whilst taking no blame himself and totally forgetting if you score more than them you win.
As rumoured the Friedkins might be interested in bringing back the traitor Moyes ,I must say he would be a heck of a step up from this dinosaur although certainly not my choice . It would be as bad as bringing Lampard back ,a young up and coming Italian that they must have seen pitting himself against Roma .
A shocking state when thinking of a new manager there is only Marco I would go anywhere near of the rabble that Moshiri employed to run his train set .
Have a great day all COYB

I don’t want Moyes back either but I am confident he would have gained more points than Dyche has to date. We are left again to now have to pick up points in the hardest of fixtures after throwing away our relatively easy start. So frustrating.

As things are a bit up in the air for me personally at the minute I did something I never thought I would. I put up the Christmas trees and it still only November 😀. Strictly no lights to be switched on until tomorrow though to at least leave me some shred of dignity. I have however lit a lovely cinnamon candle to make my house a little bit festive.

Yeah I'm with you there Blue.
Moyes would be a massive upgrade on Dyche but surely we need a younger , more progressive manager.

Morning all, milder temperatures forecast for today which is good. We are off to see Posh play Notts County in the F A Cup this afternoon. They have reduced the prices so am taking them up on the offer, this will also up my total of loyalty points for tickets in the event of P’boro v Everton being drawn out in the third round. 🤞🤞🤞
Have a good day, all.💙

We need a manager like Moyes was in 2002. An enthusiastic individual who is here for the long term and wants to form a legacy. With new owners and a brand new stadium, the Everton role must surely be a sought after one.

FA Cup really is a different atmosphere. The cheaper ticket prices are a real bonus too.

Best of luck to Posh today.

Good evening all - a thick frosty morning today and the frost stayed all day. I hope you are all OK. @Terrarian - how are you and Daisy doing?
It's all work and no play at the moment. The usual end of the month scramble to get work out and meet our targets. At least it's good for my flexi/I'm vaguely thinking about going to the gym in a few minutes. I went swimming on Wednesday but feel like I need to do some cardio. My step count hasn't got into 4 figures for three days - one of the perils of working from home. You don't actually go anywhere! It's a very short walk from office to kitchen to bathroom.
We did get some good news though. Chris's last scan was clear so in spite of all his trials and tribulations and worries, everything is progressing as it should be. He's seeing his oncologist again in two weeks with a view to restarting his immunotherapy.
Anyway have a lovely evening everybody x
Hi Anj, and everyone. We're plodding along, my headaches are still on the bad end of the spectrum and just makes doing anything a chore. We're ok though, still out walking four times a day come rain or shine.

I think I am out of the swing of posting, I've been reading more than posting, mind you I am just very disheartened with the club at the minute and don't really feel like talking about them. I should still say hello more in here though, I shall try.
