Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Evening all, hope you are having a great weekend. Had visitors who came up from Tunbridge Wells yesterday and are leaving tomorrow so been a busy but good weekend. Spent last night at my sons and took them to Liverpool today for a mooch around- obviously they loved it.
I realised this weekend when the new season ticket prices came out that I will be eligible for a senior concession next season which both pleased me and depressed me at the same time.
Glad Posh won for you @Gwladysover - it’s good to watch other teams, especially when they win. Nice to see your posts @Terrarian, keep going and walking with Daisy and I genuinely hope that your headaches ease up for you, it must be so debilitating.
I can’t understand why anyone would want Moyes back tbh. My facebook memories remind me regularly just how fed up everyone was with him before he went to Man U, and agree with @Armaghtoffee and @jazzy that we need someone young and exciting and capable. And the way he tried to asset strip us after he left. How come other teams seem to find them and we don’t. I’m so out of patience with Dyche after trying to support him.
Not looking forward to watching the game tomorrow but as usual I will. At least it’s not affected Saturday 😂.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone 💙
I must confess I’ve paid senior concession prices at a few grounds this season, on the basis that I’m in my 65th year, I just haven’t completed it.

Morning all, hope you are all enjoying a restful sleep, hopefully I’ll be able to do similar in an hour or two. Tonight I’m going to have to visit a different pub, as we are closing ours for the night for all of the Staff to have a pre-Christmas party in the pub. They will have a great time before it all gets manic during December …..

Hi Anj, and everyone. We're plodding along, my headaches are still on the bad end of the spectrum and just makes doing anything a chore. We're ok though, still out walking four times a day come rain or shine.

I think I am out of the swing of posting, I've been reading more than posting, mind you I am just very disheartened with the club at the minute and don't really feel like talking about them. I should still say hello more in here though, I shall try.

Glad you posted T, yes the club seems to take away our energy and indeed happiness at the moment. I’m sorry to hear that the headaches are no better, but you are right about posting more in here as it also brings a bit of joy to everyone else in here. Anyway, take it easy, I hope you improve and I hope you spend a bit more time in here. All the best, Pete…….

Good morning all this morning . I hope all are well and had a good night .Off to the shops today and see the xmas lights in town . I do watch highlights of other sides even though I only watch our games ,I have just watched the reds vs city I never want to praise them but there seemed to be only one team in it and the same for the title ,if city would have worn our shirts it would have looked the same .They were a shambles and the other lot all over them like a rash.
Us on the other hand are in for a terrible time next week I am almost st the I cannot watch stage .Dyche has to take some blame for the lack of goals and cannot get away with "well we had chances " line for much longer .
I think Kev would have pulled the trigger but for our circumstance ,unless Freidkins give him the nod his hands are tied .
Have a great day all COYB

I don’t usually like managers getting sacked, but something is seriously wrong between Dyche and the squad. Anyway that’s it he has to go. There are lights aplenty in our village but I can’t really get into it at the moment. I need to find time to go and buy some more as ours seem to died a death. It doesn’t feel the same without the grandkids living here though. Anyway, have a great day guys, I’m just about to change my wife again then collapse into sleep…..

Thanks pete I appreciate the kind words.

Morning all. I shall start but not dwell on the game. There's no coming back from this now, we've crossed a line of no return. You can feel the hate towards him growing, not a nice word but it's what folk are saying.

There is from my view obvious discontent among the squad, I reckon it stemmed from Pattersons "clip round the ear"; whatever it was the squad have had it with him and he seems lost as how to change anything. He has to go.

It's raining again today and chilly, looks like the heating is on, thankfully i have built a bit of credit up, not bad from almost £2k debt, quite proud of my little self there. We've not really done any decent walks this year, a combination of crap weather and my health has seen to that.

I can't be imagining that it seems to be raining even more than usual, just miserable. I'm going to get a coat for Daisy I think, sick of her being piss wet through.

Anyway, thanks to everyone, I appreciate you all checking on me from time to time, you're a good bunch. On that note, I guess I should go and get ready for morning stroll.

Have a good day guys.

Afternoon everyone, been a bit of a frustrating day. Waiting on a parcel, delivery by UPS, was supposed to be delivered Saturday morning but kept getting notifications that the delivery time was later and later, Needless to say it arrived whilst we were at the match. Card through the door - will attempt delivery on Monday. Text this morning to say delivery between 10.20 - 12.20. Just received message at 16.00 saying your parcel is on its way, just later than expected! Is it strapped to the back of a tortoise currently making its way down the A1? Rant over!
Well done on your build up of credit @Terrarian , no mean feat! Love to see a pic.of Daisy when she gets a new coat if you feel like posting.
Enjoy what’s left of the day, all.💙
