Hi guys. Bit of a rubbish day today. My Dad is ill again. My brother rang me this morning to say he had been taken into hospital by the paramedics. Same thing as last time but not as bad as last time. We've both spent most of the day trying unsuccessfully to contact The Royal for some sort of update. Dad can't ring us because there is very poor signal where he is so all we know is, in about a 30 second conversation with him, that they are trying to find him a bed.

A rubbish day for me at work. I had my truck broken into during the night. They have literally cut a hole in the curtain to climb inside . Taken some garden unbrellas then scarpered.

New, go-faster shoes made the last couple of runs a relative breeze. This morning’s is done and dusted and now I’m struggling through a core workout.

I’m just picturing the brew and protein bar at the end of the tunnel.

Good Lord no!! I’ve done the couch to 5k program. Looking to do 10k at Tough Mudder this year.

I dislike running for the sake of running, but it’s all part of getting to some semblance of fitness.

Just back from Rodney St. If anyone needs a fit to fly PCR I can recommend DAM health. Very efficient and safe service. Within an hour of getting home they emailed us 2 lovely negative certificates.

So just a LFT at the airport and we are on our way!

I've done a couple but in what feels a different lifetime. I thought I was fit until I did one. I was OK until about 18 miles and then boy what a struggle to complete it.
