Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I’m sorry to hear that your wife caught the damn virus but hopefully the three jabs will keep her from having the worst effects. I have read that taking Zinc and vitamin D can help people get over Covid quickly. May you and your daughter remain healthy ?

Sorry to hear that. Hope she isn't too badly affected and gets well soon

Hope Mrs B is not too bad and feels better soon.
Thank you lovely ladies x

Don't worry about Mrs B. She's sat on the bed watching telly while I wait on her hand and foot. She's keeps calling me on my mobile and texting me, asking me to bring her stuff, like the Lady of the Manor.

I've started answering my phone with "Room Service" when she calls me.

She better tip you well once she gets out of her quarantine ?

Totally envious of all those on here who will be at the Old Lady on Saturday...gave up my s/t this season due to deteriorating health...
This thread is an oasis in the madness that sometimes infects the GOT community..
Makes me forget my own problems seeing how others have coped with their own issues....health,bereavement, et al.
That's life though...we can become stronger if we learn from all our experiences good or bad.... I'm still learning nearing my 70th birthday (hopefully) in August this year.
That's my target, along with my 25th wedding anniversary in May... Love to you all

John, I agree, this thread is indeed an oasis. Karl created the perfect place to find refuge and relief when things are madness everywhere else around the forum. The support and friendship that has been happening here is incredible and it is wonderful to know you also feel this way. We will be rooting for you to have a wonderful 70th birthday and a happy 25th wedding anniversary with your wife in August ? but until then let’s all celebrate the fact that Benitez is gone and that Saturday is going to be a super exciting day to watch the Blues, even if it is from home, or from a cruise ship ? ? Although like you l would rather to be at Goodison instead. But hopefully soon enough you can return, and I can visit too.

Dear @jazzy you are probably sleeping already and by the time you wake up I will be the one snoozing ? ? so I want to make sure to wish you again best of luck on your trip. The Caribbean is waiting for you and Mrs. J so enjoy it. Like former lady Eleanor Roosevelt used to said “and the purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the outmost, to reach out eagerly without fear for newer and richer experiences.” All this to say, don’t be shy to bring your Speedos ;)

Safe travels amigo. We’ll miss you but look forward to hearing about your trip and seeing some pics. Xx

Stay well my friend. And positive.

Sometimes that all you can do.

Good morning all ,a bit late again this morning but here in mind earlier .I hope we all have a great day today with temperatures hotter than the caribbean , just like I hope we get a great new manager .We had quite a bit of snow yesterday evening so I am on the snow blower this morning I managed to get it running yesterday but it threw the belt -often happens I suppose .So it is all action for me ,I will post a photo as it always looks so nice when it is neat and tidy .

You have echoed my thoughts and I am also approaching that milestone birthday. 1952 was a very good year!
