Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Morning all, lovely red sunrise here in the Borough today which is good to see after a few grey mornings. @Terrarian hope you are okay as you haven’t been around lately. Sounds as though you may have to prepare for the patter of tiny paws @Sassy Colombian after your kitty has had a night on the tiles. @Methuselah hope you are feeling more chipper today. @Barnfred 55 re your birthday just go with the flow I’m sure you will do whatever is best for you, Cal will be there with you as always. Have a good day all and to everyone who is feeling under the weather hope you feel better today.?

Good morning all, been busy at work since getting home from Merseyside on Sunday, I have a lot of reading to do on this thread to catch up.
I'm off today but as usual on the days my good lady works, I've been left with a long list of domestic chores.
I hope everyone of you has a good day today. It is wet and drizzly up here this morning so not much prospects of even a decent walk, ah well.

Yeah, foxes can be very loud when mating. Those vixens do take fake orgasms to the next level. It's normally at night though, but these two were at it in broad daylight and using the roof of my neighbour's garage as some sort of shagging podium for all to see. Talk about brazen exhibitionism. Quite admirable really.
Fake orgasm? Is that where you substitute Triple Sec for Cointreau? ?

Let me summarise for you LT. BTS has been kept awake at night with foxes faking orgasms inhis back garden, Sassy's stray cat is on the prowl for sex, Jazzy has been getting on the pop at 7 o'clock in the morning out in the Caribbean but Anj has her spies on the case reporting back on his activities, oh and the girls all want Kovac as our new manager for some reason. Oh, and brown knickers made a reappearance. ?

Sound like special people your in laws. My old auntie who used to live just outside Naas was the same. An open house. I had an Uncle John, who mum used to refer to as her brother, was just some lad who's parents died when he was young and my maternal grandmother just took in. It was what they did back in the day I suppose.

I actually visited Castletownbere in 1985 when I'd have been in my mid twenties. As you say, a special place that, geologically, is similar to parts of Cornwall where I now live. I don't know what it is like now but at the time it was very rural and untapped by tourism. I remember the local store, that doubled up as the local bar by night, was owned and run by an English girl. I can imagine it being exactly the same as I remember it. if it were in Cornwall it would be a bustling holiday resort now with 70% of the properties own by out of towners or holiday lets.

Anyway, going by some of your posts on here you can tell you've been kissing the old stone a bit too frequently. lol
It is still rural now Fred but it has been "discovered" and a lot of the holiday homes etc are now owned by Americans and other out of towners, it would have changed a lot since you were there in 85 id imagine but the scenery and natural beauty are still in place.

I lived in Blarney for a few years, have lived in Cork all my life and my Mother still lives in Blarney, after Dad died she point blank refused to move in with us, sold their house and downsized to a little two bedroom house in the heart of Blarney village, walks the dog, meets the girls for coffee and just enjoys her days now taking life at her pace, anyway what i had started to say was in all my time i have never kissed the old stone, in fact i have only ever been in the castle grounds twice in my life, both as a teenager and i broke in there both times lollollol

All I can say then mate is that your charm must be completely natural and nothing to do with the Blarney stone. ;)

Fred, you could have just summarised by saying 'You haven't missed much it's just been a normal week in the Messy thread' ?

Seems like Pereira is now back as firm favourite to be our manager. Skybet has him at 3-1 on.

Here is a post that a Fenerbahce fan made earlier. Sounds worse than Benitez if that is possible.
Hey! Fenerbahçe fan over here. He was sacked from Fenerbahçe for many reasons.
His second term in Fenerbahçe started because our current president promised an AAA class manager to the fans. But, unfortunately, our current president is not capable of finishing the job or convincing anyone to anything.

He could not find any good managers and when the clock was already ticking for the new season he suddenly announced Vitor Pereira’s coming back. In his first term with our ex-president some people were thinking Pereira got so bad working conditions with no respect from the board and he should be given a second chance.

Well, we did it, after 5 years.

Vitor Pereira returned Turkey with a better mentality than 5 years ago. He was back than so aggressive, both when in bench or in media conferences. Now he was calmer, but still getting tilted when someone criticizes him or questions his decisions. He, unfortunately, thinks about others opinions on him more than his actual team‘s well-being.

The problems started when he, again, had fallouts with stars of the team. It came to the point that footballers openly told the board they do not want to work with Vitor Pereira. Vitor has a really bad record with stars; Robin Van Persie, Nani, Hulk and now Ozil are his most remarkable scandals.

He was so keen on his 3-4-3 this year that no matter what he did not flex it although Fenerbahçe did not have original wing backs. He converted two attacking wingers into wing backs. It worked, for a time. But when one of those converted guys got injury the team started skydiving. Whenever Vitor is losing a game you can count that more will come because he is really bad at recovering from the loss. Wikipedia is giving you guys a win rate but what it does not tell you is he was mainly fired from the clubs because of unexplainable lose streaks.
Can our owner be so pig headed to go against fan opinion again. I truly pray that he isn't and rethinks the matter, but by all accounts this morning he has already made his mind up. I would honestly take Martinez, Koeman and Silva back ahead of him.

Sorry to hear that mate. Take care of yourself. Have you moved house yet or is that something else you have to worry about on top of your health's. Moving can be extremely stressful.
