Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Sorry to hear that mate. Take care of yourself. Have you moved house yet or is that something else you have to worry about on top of your health's. Moving can be extremely stressful.
Have just had a phone call, got a face to face with Doc at 4.30 this afternoon. The house move has been put back a bit to early April so takes the pressure of a bit. I moved several times with my job so was used to it at one time but we have been where we are now for 40 years so it will be a wrench. We have brilliant neighbours. 40 years is a long time to build up unwanted rubbish too!
Her indoors is going into hospital next week for a heart valve operation so am glad that didn't happen in the middle of a house move! She's going to be in for a week. Good job I know how to work the toaster and kettle. lol

Hope you get sorted mate.

Hope you are able to get things sorted with the Doc this afternoon. Glad Mrs M. is booked in for next week and hope everything goes well for her. Tea and toast for next week thenlol

Let me summarise for you LT. BTS has been kept awake at night with foxes faking orgasms inhis back garden, Sassy's stray cat is on the prowl for sex, Jazzy has been getting on the pop at 7 o'clock in the morning out in the Caribbean but Anj has her spies on the case reporting back on his activities, oh and the girls all want Kovac as our new manager for some reason. Oh, and brown knickers made a reappearance. ?
I would just like to say that you were the reason the brown knickers made a reappearance lol

Hope you feel better soon and best wishes to Mrs M for the op next week. Pop into the bomb shelter thread if you get stuck - Pot Noodles and Frazzles always available in there! ? ?

Seems like Pereira is now back as firm favourite to be our manager. Skybet has him at 3-1 on.

Here is a post that a Fenerbahce fan made earlier. Sounds worse than Benitez if that is possible.

Can our owner be so pig headed to go against fan opinion again. I truly pray that he isn't and rethinks the matter, but by all accounts this morning he has already made his mind up. I would honestly take Martinez, Koeman and Silva back ahead of him.
VP scares the absolute bejaysus out of me tbh

Completely missed that about the missus going in for a heart valve op. Did you add that on afterwards?

Hope everything goes well for her M. I imagine it will take it out of her so you'll probably have your work cut out when she comes home. You'll need a lot more than a toaster and kettle lol. I can always cook you one of my extra hot special curries. ;)

Good afternoon my lovelies. Busy day again but as it's my day off - nice busy. Met my friend for lunch which was lovely. We went to a proper little tea shop in Sedgefield. Very old fashioned and quaint. I resisted cake. If you are ever in this neck of the woods Sedgefield is a lovely little place to visit.

Now catching up on David Attenborough's Green Planet. Who knew plants were so flipping weird? I'm currently watching a boy wasp trying to have sex with an orchid because the orchid is pretending to be a girl wasp.

I'm also £400 worse off than I was this morning after I picked my car up from having a new timing belt fitted. Was expected though, I've had it booked in since before Christmas so knew it was coming but even so....overtime this weekend I think!

I really hope Pereira is not appointed. I now understand why the Arsenal board refused to let Moshiri and Usmanov have more shares. They are clueless and seem to be impressed by somebody who can talk the talk rather than walk the walk. Corporate bollocks wins the day.....as usual, and another has been trading off past success is appointed.

Not to end on a downer, my tickets for Everton v Newcastle came this morning and I'm going to Bilbao in March. No idea what's there but the flights were cheap! Hopefully the mention of Howard Kendall might ingratiate myself with some of the older locals.

Completely agree with you anj about Pereira it's like back to the future at Everton. We are a basket.case.

Morning friends, now I don't want you to be jealous but sat on the beach at St Martin with a bucket of beers ( 6 for 15 dollars ,bargain ) it's 29 degrees with a lovely breeze.

Pity about the impending relegation. Jeez Moshiris just got to get a manager in and throw some money at a couple of signings.

Enjoy. See you later guys.
Know it well mate and yes, I am very jealous.

Did you enjoy the trip over to the beach on the ferry?. Before you go back to the boat try one of the bars lined up behind the beach. You'll get some excellent fried chicken.

Bilbao is renowned for it's modern architecture (especially the museum) and for it's food. That region is now widely regarded as the food capital of the world. It's also very wet though so make sure you pack an umbrella.
