I said to the family, "There's no way that scrawny mutt is getting his paws on our Goldie." Anyway, one day Goldie escaped, not for the first time. She came back later (sometimes it was next day) looking very sheepish.

As she was on heat, we thought it could be any dog who'd had his way with her and not necessarily the dog on the step. When she had her pups, she had five really cute ones and one who was the absolute spitting image of the scrawny old mutt who'd patiently waited and waited before seizing his opportunity.

Good morning all. How's it going? I've got over my fury at Sky Sports News yesterday. Vented in the bomb shelter about the way they carried on about the graffiti at Goodison, giving Pereira a right to reply and to defend himself. Absolute lunacy. They really do hate us! I can't stand those two muppets who do the transfer show. They just talk rubbish and I'm convinced it's all to do with odds rigging on Skybet. Getting people to bet on transfers they say are happening.

Clearly from the above I am not over my fury! ? ? Think happy thoughts....Not much to report otherwise. Dad still in hospital but hoping to come out soon. He's desperate to be back in his own bed at home. Not such good news from some of the other tests. His kidneys are not functioning very well so they are looking at dialysis. He's not happy, doesn't want it.
It's a nice day in the North East. Sunny but a bit windy. I've noticed that I'm feeling so much happier as the nights are getting lighter. It's amazing the difference it makes.

@Terrarian are you OK. I'm missing the Frys Chocolate cream and Daisy beagle updates.
