Good morning, friends.
I’m feeling a bit down this morning as our cute kitten run away to find many cats to give her some love and she hasn’t come back from her vagabondage since Tuesday. As expected my daughter has been devastated at the thought that something could have happened to her so she has been crying a lot ? We are specially concerned about the cold weather as the temperature at night the past few days has been around -4 and tomorrow afternoon we are expected to have a few snow showers and the temperature will be dropping to -11, no good weather for animals to be outside. However, I have been trying to comfort my daughter and told her that cats at times disappear for a while but that they also tend to return, so that’s my hope. My nephews had a cat that once disappeared for a whole year, but he was fixed. if Fresca returns I’m afraid that I’m not only going to be grandma but according to @blue1948 I could have up to 10 grandkittens from different fathers ? But I would gladly take them as long as our Fresca comes back soon safely.
On other news, I was still having laptop issues yesterday so I spent most of the day trying to get a new one but it seems I finally got one working. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to continue working from home but when things go wrong with your at home work tools it can be a worry so I’m very happy that everything is working right and I can be again helping my students.
I won’t multi quote this morning you all post, I’m sure Fred will be thrilled about that but I wanted to say that the pics posted by @Gwladysover and @Armaghtoffee were lovely.
@Terrarian i hope you are okay, we have missed you the past few days.
I also wanted to wish @Methuselah missus the best of luck with her doctors appointment and upcoming surgery.
And I wanted to post a special welcome to @blue to the bone This thread is a little oasis in the desert of negative that can be GOT. So feel free to stop by here for a chat, for a good laugh, or if you need some form of support, we have many great posters that are here for you and ready to offer their friendship and advise.
Lastly, what in the heck is happening with our manager search. This has really become the circus that we didn’t need to have at this crucial moment. I wanted Kovac for many reasons besides the looks. I don’t know a whole a lot about Pereira as a manager but one thing is for sure it seems his appointment would be as divisive as Benitez, just because of how strong the fans are feeling against this appointment I don’t think it should be happening but it seems the Board may think differently.
Okay, I’m finally done with my morning briefing. I’m going to get ready to go to the gym but hopefully I can catch up with everyone later today again.
