Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

That snow quickly disappeared.
It did because Asheville has a lot of sunny days even during winter so the snow only last where the sun doesn't shine.

But I'm sure if you explain it to her in the right way, she will be happier in herself if she thought the cat was safe. She may still miss her but it will stop her fretting over her well being.
I wish it was that simple with my daughter but she is a drama queen lol I did, I try to explain to her exactly that but it didn't work

Oh no. Hope the kitty comes home. What a little floozie she is! Give her a good talking to when she eventually comes back!
Now that's another word I had never heard but I totally know what it is without looking at the meaning. And she is indeed a floozie little thing. I never realize cats females were so chippy.

I've just had a phone call from my brother who said Dad is coming home today but, according to Dad, has no results of tests. We are both convinced he is holding things back from us. Which is completely his perogative but we really could do with knowing what's going on so we can have a plan between us to manage care and/ or whatever is coming. I might end up going across midweek because brother has to go to London for work on Tuesday. His company based in Skem supply all the paint for the grass at Wimbledon so that's where he's going.
Ange, I'm sure that must be so frustrating for you and your brother but your dad probably doesn't want to worry you. Although it is more worrying not knowing really what's happening with him so hopefully your trip is fruitful and you are able to inquire out of him what's really happening with his health

I was told that cats that roam usually have two homes ,the one of the owner and another with more food and a nice place to sleep. Although I suspect she is "out on the rampage "having the time of her life .
My husband also has told me that story before as he is convinced our other cats goes to other houses to get feed more

Afternoon all, sun has come out here, so will be off out for a walk soon. Sorry your kitty is being a dirty stop-out @Sassy Colombian hope she’s back with you soon. Also sorry to hear about your Dad @anjelikaferrett, he may not be telling you everything to spare you any worry, my Mum was guilty of this and would only admit there was anything wrong as a last resort. Hope you are able to get some information from the hospital. Welcome @blue to the bone we have had a varied range of topics under discussion recently some of which I can safely say you won’t find anywhere else., eh @Barnfred 55 lol
Hahaha, a dirty stop-out sound like the perfect description. That little kitty has definitely brought some unnecessary stress to my week but I'm over it.

Afternoon all,

My missus is still testing positive for Covid, a week after her first positive test. She has a couple of friends who weren't negative until day 9 and 10.

It's her birthday today, as well! We were in lockdown for her birthday last year. I'm at home all day and trying to make it a bit less crap for her by bringing her nice food and treats. Made her a cooked breakfast this morning, smoked salmon for lunch and facetiming each other a lot.

@anjelikaferrett Sorry to hear about your dad Anje. Although frustrating that he's keeping stuff from you, I suppose it's natural for people to try and shield loved ones from worrying. Hope you manage to get some info from the hospital.

Oh, and floozie, lol haven't heard that in such a long time.

@Sassy Colombian Hope your cat comes home soon, the little floozie.

@Ducans elbow Hope you're not suffering too much with the dreaded covid. Is that a deliberate mis-spelling of Duncan or did you balls up when you registered? It confused me for quite a while when I kept trying to type in Duncan and your username wouldn't come up, then realised it was Ducans. lol

So it looks like our new manager's going to be Lampard. Not the best candidate out there, but probably the best of the few who seemed to be on the shortlist. I'm just releived it's not Pereira. What do people think?
Happy belated birthday to Mrs. BTS, it seems that eventhough it could have been a bad one given the isolation restrictions, you seem to have made sure she had an awesome day, so kudos for being a great husband.

Afternoon/Morning/Evening all, I hope all my favourite online nobheads are well.
Long time no GIF and all that.
Moving back to the Liverpool region in the not-too-distant.
Got an agreement in prinicple with a company and scoping Woolton but there's some belter places around Knowsley for 'bang for your buck', quite fancy being a woolyback.
Hey friend, it has been a while since you stopped by to greet us. I hope everything is going well with your mum. How exciting that you will be moving to Liverpool region, good luck finding the right place to call home.

Went for my chest X-ray today. Local minor injuries hospital is only a few minutes drive. Booked in, wait of 10 minutes then I was done and out. Excellent service.
Dear @Methuselah I must have gotten confused as I thought it was your missus the one needing the chest x-ray, sorry for the mistake. But I'm glad everything went well for you. xx

Or great fun! :)

Good morning all, good see the gang still representing.

We bought our first garden plants of the season this week. Not quite on us yet but spring is just around the corner. New life, can't wait!
What sort of garden plants? Now I'm really jealous, our spring is definitely not around the corner. Asheville can be the coldest in March, although like every where else in the world weather patterns are changing and every now and then we get a warm one but this year we are getting more snow than usual so I wouldn't be surprised if stays cold until then.

Good morning all ,up bright and early today as I have 2 1/2 hour drive to get my hifi.I hope all slept weöö ans have a great day .
I hope you got your hifi and that your drive went well.

Hey guys, back again. had too take a break the anger and bickering in esector was getting too me. I'll try and catch up asap. Hopefully we get a new manager today.
Sometimes we all need such break, the E sector can get very toxic and poster can be very vicious towards each other. Glad to have you back!

Just had a phone call from the doctor. He says he has diagnosed what is wrong with me. Fluid on the lung, am getting some tablets this afternoon. Coincidence - Her indoors had the same last month and had to have her lungs drained. My sister also had same a couple of months ago and she managed with tablets. Will be pleased to get it sorted as I am awake half the night with breathing difficulties.
Good to hear that the doctor's sort out what was bothering you. May the tablets improve your breathing difficulties.

Mrs B has had two negative tests for covid today, so if she has another another negative tomorrow she'll be able to come out of isolation. ?
Yay, that's great new for Mrs. B and for you too, I'm sure you are both ready for her to be out of isolation and resume living life together :)

No and I wouldn't, it's disgusting how they make it lol should be banned.
I was about to post the same thing, I would never try something not matter how delicious it may be if the animal is getting torture to make us a great dish. So I too find foie gras repulsive and it is way too expensive too.

Hummus, not had that for a while, never know what to have it with. Lot's of different flavours these days isn't there. I'll think on that one
In the US we have it with veggies (such as pepper, carrots, celery, broccoli) or with corn chips, pita bread, crackers pretzel sticks, toasted bread. You can also make a wrap with hummus, salad sprouts, tomatoes, cucumber, avocados, etc. or do the same but as a sandwich.
I’ve just given my dog a crusty roll.
His gums started bleeding when he was chewing it.
FFS.
Poor thing. No more crusty rolls for your doggie. I hope his gums feel better soon.
Here he is now, waiting for his dinner !!

Thanks zatty, i mean Sassy lol

Happy Friday lovelies!

So much has happened since my last update. Yesterday after being away for a whole day and more, the floozie dirty stop-out kitty showed up again at our house but not by herself, she brought along a gray scruffy cat with who she must have been doing the deed. I was so mad that I stepped out of my door and scared that cat away, then I did just like Ange's former nuns and inspected her upside down and everywhere for signs that she had done something (as if the scruffy gray cat had not been enough proof). After spending a day out doing her stuff the lovely kitty slept the whole day yesterday only to run away again this morning. My husband and I were puzzled how she got out as I knew when I left this morning to the gym she was still at home but according to Mr. Sassy she wasn't there when he woke up. So for a few minutes we were clueless how she got out until it dawn on me that when I arrived home this morning a vent that connects our basement with the outside of the house had been popped out. So it seems the little devil got into an old cat door that links the laundry room to the basement and she found her way out. One thing is for sure she is very sharp but also a very floozie cat. A couple of minutes ago she returned again and now is starving after all the workout she must have done this morning so now she is devouring her food like she has never eaten before. So it seems we are destined to have kittens in a few months, unless the vet can get her spayed next week. I'm waiting to hear back from them but not looking forward the expense but it has to be done because if this is how she acts everything she is in heat then I won't be a happy camper.

On other news, I received a call from human resources this morning and I have been invited to an interview on Tuesday morning. So this weekend and on Monday I will be getting ready for it so I can give it my best.

I haven't read since yesterday what has been happening with our manager search but for what I have read on your post it seems that Lampard may be the one, I don't know much about him either but once again whoever it is needs to help us improve our position so we don't get relegated.

Colombia NT is playing in a couple of hours against Peru. I'm assuming Mina will be playing so let's hope he can stay healthy. The upcoming games are very important for Colombia as we need to cling to one of the world cup qualifying spots but in order to do so we need to get points today and against Argentina.

That's all for me, at least for now lol

That’s great news about your invitation for an interview, hope it goes well. Not so great about your dirty stop out kitty, hope the vet is able to do something, will be for the best even though it sounds as though it could be expensive.

Thanks, I hope so too. I loathe interviews, for some reason I get super intimidated but thankfully this one will be through zoom so hopefully it will help me being at home.

Yep, not so great about the expense but better do it now than having to deal with floozy behavior every time she is in heat. Plus the world doesn't need any more kitties tbh.
