Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning Mascoteers I think we will all have had a better night after the win, nice to see @jazzy is back albeit jet lagged . I hope @Sassy Colombian learns from the ban and comes back with good news about her new job . I hope @Barnfred 55 can manage without her photos but he does seem a bit jaded as we haven't had a curry suggestion for two days .
I hope all have a good day ,@fandjango I hope you do well with the *ankers over in Riyahd .

I didn’t know sassy got a ban ha ha what did she do ?

Morning everyone,

After a decent night's sleep ( although my body still thinks I'm on Caribbean time ) I've had a romp through last week's posts on here.

I was reminded how much I miss the snippets of info from all our regular posters and how in perhaps a way much greater than we will ever know how the the messages of support and understanding help our fellow friends.

So I'm not going to do a Zatty / Sassy response to everyone - suffice I hope to say that I all hope that you are well in body , soul and mind.

My trip was absolutely fantastic. There were significant restrictions that impinged upon the enjoyment of the holiday such as having to wear a mask when everywhere on the islands ( except on beaches ) which is not much fun when it is 30 degrees. There were covid inconsistencies on the ship - encouraged to share a table to dine but not allowed to drink or sit in the theatre without a mask.

However the overall holiday was wonderful. It was a rejuvenation and a step back to hopeful normality.

So , I hope to catch up with everyone in the coming days and tremendous to see a winning start under a young fresh manager. Fingers crossed that as D Ream said "Things can only get better " ..... mind you that theme tune worked out well for Tony Blair didn't it!

Great to have you back and although you had a bit of discomfort on board if you have come home safe it is of far greater importance . How is the wife's ear ? and Mum ?

Mrs J's ear cleared up a day or two before we left ( fortunately ) . Mum is fine but a bit tired. We had my cousin up to look after the goats , sheep , chickens and our other dog.

However Blue our 15 year old can't manage stairs now ( I carry him up and down ) so he stayed with his granny who he loves and our cat also decided to move in with Granny.

However mum perked up when I took her some flowers and cake !

She says she slept well last night.
