I did not know that but now you've told me I'm not surprised. Never saw the film of The ChoirBoys but read the book a very long time ago, it is brilliant. The only book I've ever read and then re-read immediately. The author Joseph Wambaugh is a retired LA cop. He wrote loads of fiction and non fiction about the police in USA . Hilarious and heart-breaking in equal measures. Well worth looking him up if you haven't read any of his books. there's one called The Onion Field that is exceptional - non fiction about the kidnapping of two LAPD officers and the subsequent murder of one of them. I think that was made into a film too.

Not sure how these things pan out AT, is it still possible to get a negative PCR after a positive LFT?

Just this week a work colleague had that very scenario with their daughter. She actually had 2 positive LFs then a negative PCR.

Very bright here still and while windy it really is nothing to write home about.

May it stay that way and I get to the football tomorrow evening ?

Been sunny here too. The wind had dropped quite a bit and was going to put the sun beds back out in the garden, but then it kicked off again. The forecast is for it to stay amber wind warning down here all over the weekend and in to Monday too with gusts of 50-60 mph expected. That's commonplace down here though so I'll probably put the stuff back out tomorrow. As I said, I'm fairly sheltered down here and none of my plants blew over during the worst of the storm and that's normally a benchmark.

You really needed and deserved that holiday.

Do you have to produce a test @larbert toffee or is it just a self declaration you have to do. I mean if you have 2 or 3 consecutive negative LFTs before you go, would they know any difference.?

Still very windy here. We are about 10 miles inland. Just spoke to a friend in Southport who says it is very wild.

Sounds like you have escaped the worst of it alright.
