Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Happy matchday, friends! I hope everyone is doing well, especially those of you having to deal with Eunice's high winds and furor. I apologize about my absence but given the incident that happened a few weeks ago I felt the need to step away from the forum, by choice. But I've missed everyone a lot and I appreciate all the posts and messages that I received during the time that I was away. It is going to take me some time to catch up with this thread and I probably won't answer everyone's post while I was absent, or I am going to sound like Zatty in steroids ? But know that every day that I was away I thought of each of you and missed the comradeship that we have formed here so it wasn't easy to be away, but it was necessary!

I can't believe how much has happened with Everton since I've been gone. Watching us played last week was one of the most exciting performances that I've witness our Blues playing, it felt like I was watching a brand new squad. Lampard seems to be raising our player's confidence and desire to perform like no other manager has been capable of doing in recent years, even Ancelotti. So, I'm feeling very optimistic about our future. Sure, it is not going to be an easy path, especially given the bad shape Benitez left us on the table and some of the teams we have to play in the next few weeks. But Frank certainly seems to have the right spirit, strategy, and tactics to makes us hope of better days, and years ahead :)

Yay she's back!!!

Totally agree re Frank Lampard. Not my 1st choice but I love that he is young progressive coach trying to play front foot attacking football.

Getting rid of Benitez and putting Frank in charge has totally transformed the mood at Goodison.

Any job news Sassy?

Good too see you back sassy, I myself tend to step away if it's affecting me so know where you are coming from, don't let the barstewards win eh.

For anyone who does their shopping online, I've sussed a way to make sure you can always get your delivery spot, dependant on if you know what day you shop on.

Just go and book your slot 3 weeks prior, put one item in the basket and checkout. Your slot is then booked and you can add or take away shopping as and when you want, the money doesn't come out until the morning of the transaction. It helps if you are struggling for delivery slots.

I have missed you all as much, more than anyone can imagine.

I agree, Lampard wasn't my first choice. I actually knew very little of him but I have been impressed with his tactics so far. I also like the changes he has implemented on the locker room, he just seems to be doing everything right at the moment and a win today is just what we need to get ourselves on a path to recovery.

Thanks for checking about the job, Jazzy. I actually got a call from HR this week offering me the position so I accepted it. And while it makes me sad that we won't be able to tour Europe this summer, I also know this is great career opportunity that I needed to pursue so I'm beyond thrilled that I was given this new opportunity at the college.

Good too see you back sassy, I myself tend to step away if it's affecting me so know where you are coming from, don't let the barstewards win eh.
Thanks, Terrain! And I understand about the need to walk away, at times social media can be so toxic for our mental health so it is important to take this time to detox and feel better. I hope your headaches also improve with this break.

Just great to see you back .
Thanks, darling. It is nice to be back.
