Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good afternoon folks. @fandjango glad you got back home safely. Did overtime this morning - might as well earn some money as the Liverpool trip was postponed. Then I went to the gym - on my own and did about an hour of cardio. Mostly because I want a takeaway tonight, haven't had one for weeks so hopefully burned off a few calories in advance.

I didn't go for the blue rinse @Barnfred 55 . Not very impressed with the outcome I'm afraid. I love the colour but OMG, the rest. One of the perils of having curly hair - hairdressers have no clue what to do with it. I look like a poodle. Anyway enough moaning, it's easy put right I just need to wash it and do it myself.

Matchday approaches. I'm hoping the new blue dawn continues after the Leeds game. @Sassy Colombian you've inspired me to apply for a job I saw. I started the application, got fed up and thought I couldn't be bothered. There's still time so I might complete it tonight and send it in. Nothing ventured, nothing gained as they say.

Catch up with you later.
Ange, I know exactly what you mean about hairdressers not having a clue cutting curly hair. I have the same issues. Thankfully with hair, it always tends to grow back so hopefully your poodle look will improve in no time.

When I began my application for the job I almost didn't finish it but all the encouragement that I received from my family and all of you here gave me the impetus to continue it. And now I am so glad that I went for it, because until recently I had not realized how ready I was for this new career opportunity. So my advise for you is to complete and send it. You got nothing to lose and the organization you are applying to, has everything to gain :)

Huge game for my beloved Armagh this evening. We are a tiny county and in a sport with no transfers that has obvious limitations.

A win tonight would almost certainly secure our place in Division 1 for a 3rd season in a row. Pre-match nerves are in full flow.

Up the Orchard!!
Best of luck to the Orchards! May they have a great win this evening!

Go for it anje , what's the worst that can happen?

Happy matchday, friends! I hope everyone is doing well, especially those of you having to deal with Eunice's high winds and furor. I apologize about my absence but given the incident that happened a few weeks ago I felt the need to step away from the forum, by choice. But I've missed everyone a lot and I appreciate all the posts and messages that I received during the time that I was away. It is going to take me some time to catch up with this thread and I probably won't answer everyone's post while I was absent, or I am going to sound like Zatty in steroids ? But know that every day that I was away I thought of each of you and missed the comradeship that we have formed here so it wasn't easy to be away, but it was necessary!

I can't believe how much has happened with Everton since I've been gone. Watching us played last week was one of the most exciting performances that I've witness our Blues playing, it felt like I was watching a brand new squad. Lampard seems to be raising our player's confidence and desire to perform like no other manager has been capable of doing in recent years, even Ancelotti. So, I'm feeling very optimistic about our future. Sure, it is not going to be an easy path, especially given the bad shape Benitez left us on the table and some of the teams we have to play in the next few weeks. But Frank certainly seems to have the right spirit, strategy, and tactics to makes us hope of better days, and years ahead :)

COYB! Arriba los Caramelos!
Welcome back Zass lol

I have missed you all as much, more than anyone can imagine.

I agree, Lampard wasn't my first choice. I actually knew very little of him but I have been impressed with his tactics so far. I also like the changes he has implemented on the locker room, he just seems to be doing everything right at the moment and a win today is just what we need to get ourselves on a path to recovery.

Thanks for checking about the job, Jazzy. I actually got a call from HR this week offering me the position so I accepted it. And while it makes me sad that we won't be able to tour Europe this summer, I also know this is great career opportunity that I needed to pursue so I'm beyond thrilled that I was given this new opportunity at the college.

Thanks, Terrain! And I understand about the need to walk away, at times social media can be so toxic for our mental health so it is important to take this time to detox and feel better. I hope your headaches also improve with this break.

Thanks, darling. It is nice to be back.
Well done Sass. Never had any doubts.
