Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

At least you feel the draw was fair.

I wished Everton had gotten a draw today, we could had if we had gotten that penalty at the beginning. That could have been our shot on target for the match ?
Ard Mhacha had a penalty that crossed the line but not given.

Amateur sport but for me best sport there is.

Hugely disappointing Everton result ?

I really don’t know much about this sport. I was just reading about it and it seems pretty entertaining. Is it like a mixed of regular football and American football? I may have to check out a match sometime. My mom wonders what happened to me because I’m her only child that loves watching football and other sports.

Hugely disappointed is an understatement. I really thought we were going to kick some arse today.

Aye, the performance v Leeds suggested something had clicked but then you have to remember this is Everton we are talking about :(

Nothing but nothing beats hurling mate and I never played it growing up. Soccer and football.

32 years in Kilkenny and nearly 30 married to a Tipp woman.

It is the greatest game in the world. I just want the Dubs to make the breakthrough.

@Sassy Colombian Google all Ireland hurling if you have never seen the game. It is incredible. These players are not paid a cent. Their passion is unbelievable.

Indeed. That performance was so magnificent that it made me think that we were all fixed but then we reverse to our bad habits and lack of appetite. Maybe I should send Frank my whip as a gift lol

I have just googled it and the game looks very exciting, maybe I should be following Armagh instead of Everton ?

In my opinion money has ruined football and so many other sports.

But did you Google Gaelic Football or Hurling. Hurling is the greatest sport on earth. it is the fastest field sport - these guys can get the sliotar (ball) moving at incredible speeds.

It is now compulsory for every player to wear a protective helmet but look at some of the historical videos. I would love to put some of our Bambi Muppets in. They wouldn't last two minutes.

Google Christy Ring as an example. He literally bled for Cork

It was indeed Gaelic but I am not one to shy away from Google so I went again on quick search, this time for Hurlin and Christy Ring and he looked fierce. The sort of character and icon that inspired love for the sport, no wonder why you like it.

...and they are paid nothing. Pure love of local parish and County. No ridiculous wages, transfer fees.

Yet they put their bodies on the line. In Ireland, Gaelic Football and Hurling can fill Croke Park with 83,000. Soccer way down. Rovers had 5300 last night, internationals might make 50,000.
Rugby will usually get full capacity in the Aviva for internationals.

Although the Dubs were poor last night, I think there were 23k there.
