Soccer players would not last two minutes in either GAA football or hurling. Btw, no sexism here, camogie (female version of hurling) would frighten the hell out of soccer players. Tough ladies.

Although a Dub I have a lot of Tipperary blood, Golden and Carrick plus married to a Cahir woman. Zero Kilkenny blood. Living here so long they're lovely people until you bring up hurling.

I can indeed see why, that passion rubs off.

Does having Tipp blood means that you and your wife support the same team? Ha, no at all. A soccer player would leave in tears, I love the sport but soccer players are as wimpy as they get, their pain tolerance seems very low compared to so many other sports.
