Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

OK , so to try and keep active and my mind off recent events I decided to start the spring clean.

Whilst I listened to Ben Stokes thrashing the Windies to all parts of Bridgetown I was washing the windows and woodwork upstairs. Mrs J very down and didn't want to do anything .

Well I usually wash the windows inside every couple of months or so but not the window frames which were absolutely filthy.

I will have a go downstairs next week.

Despite our sadness me and Mrs J will have to put on our best happy Del Trotter faces on Saturday when we do a stall at Ormskirk market for the animal rescue. Fortunately the weather forecast is really good so we hope to have a profitable day and make loads of money for the animals. It's hard work and I hope my back is up to it but in the past ( not done it for a while due to covid ) we've been very successful. Wish us luck !

Have a great evening tonight , I think it's a must win game .

Hola amigos. I'm still trying to catch up to this thread. I been super busy the past few days working extra hours so I could take the rest of this afternoon off from work so I could watch Everton, I hope it is not a mistake and that they don't dissapoint us. It has been a difficul week for many and a win will certainly brighten our evenings. Plust we are still in such dire situtation that we need to add any points today ?

COYB!

I had a fantastic day.

This morning went to Armagh City for the first parades on 3 years. Lots of Ukraine flags.

Armagh has an established migrant community that we are embracing. These boys and girls need a club to represent and my volunteer job is to make everyone welcome at our grounds.

Our outreach program at the schools is to encourage kids to give us a try. A new sport for but most importantly a community behind them.

As we tell parents, football may not be your child’s sport going forward but they will be better people from our coaching.

Dear Jazzy. You are always a busy bee, even in retirement ;) I hope your back is feeling better and you are not pushing yourself too hard to forget about your heart ache.

It'll be a good distraction for you and Mrs. J to be volunteering again for the animal rescue organization this weekend. Your love and dedication to the care of animals is quite remarkable.

I guess our Blues also knew it was a must win game :)
