Nice, I look forward to your pics. How big is your smoker? I absolutely love rainbow trout, it is delicious whether smoked or not.

It is big enough to put 4 full fillets in and I use any fruit wood to smoke or oak ,we cannot get hickory here .

Algarve is the best for fresh fish.

Lobster with pliers in both hands is a challenge

You ain't never been to Finland ,no lobster but cratfish and mussels from the lakes .We have a fish here and on the final of one masterchef they took the contestant to Copenhagen where they ate this fish and the judges were bowled over by the taste .It has anEnglish name of pike perch but I never knew it in the UK.

Bit wet and miserable here Gwladys. But it started off that way yesterday and I ended up sat out in the back for a couple hours in the afternoon,

Had to show them to my wife ,she used to compete in dressage and low level jumping ,on the horse of course ! If she can smell horse manure she is a happy woman .

I had 2 Cutthroat Trout, straight out of a river in Colorado, no lemon, salt etc...might as well have been salmon. Could have downed 3 or 4.

Sound delicious. Did you caught it yourself? We are going to Colorado in October but not for trout ? but to visit some fiends and to attend our first music live event since Covid began. Do you live there? Can’t recall what part of the US you reside at.
