Morning all. Sigh.

Struggling for any positives from last night, but Delph played surprisingly well. Gordon looks more promising with every appearance and should have started. Salmon Lardon barely featured. Er, what else? It was an improvement on 5-2?

@messymascot Hope you had a restful sleep and have a good day today, mate. Any plans?

@Barnfred 55 How's the detox going?

No he didn't get out. They told him in the morning that they wanted to give him iron via a drip before he came home. The doctor confirmed this on his rounds. I went into see him at lunch time and it hadn't been done. Came back home. He eventually rang me at about 4 and said that they couldn't do it until tomorrow morning i.e today. He was so disappointed. Just waiting to hear from now to see what's happening today. Thanks for asking x

That's so frustrating for you both. People who work in the NHS are generally great, but sometimes the organisation and admin is lacking. At least he was spared having to watch another Blues defeat.

Hopefully it'll get sorted out today and he can go home.

I agree. The staff are lovely but the communication is shocking.

Morning Messy. Morning all.

Bit arse about tit today doing my paperwork before checking in here. usually the other way around. lol

Detox is over mate. Went round to the neighbours for Sunday lunch which also included a number of beverages. But it served it's purpose and it was Friday before I really started feeling myself again, so to speak.

Afternoon. We've got it so wrong with Benitez. We need him to do the right thing and walk away. He is single handedly destroying the confidence of our entire squad. If we were going to start with Gbamin we needed a 3rd air of legs in there. Godfrey has been played all across the back line no wonder he loses his bearings. Holgate a player with zero confidence thrust into a make shift back 4. I could go on but would just wind myself up.

Yeah going for a meal with my Grandma, Uncle and 3 Aunties. They are picking me up at quarter to 6.

Its a shambles mate, I was lucky enough to miss the 1st half last night. Our back 5 haven't a clue what each other are doing or even what they're supposed to be doing - complete difference from last seaon. Defence didnt need altered from last season they worked well together untill Benitez came in and ripped it up, imagine using zonal marking without Mina in the team-its suicidal tactics.

Afternoon Messy, I think we could all wind ourselves up if we stopped to think about how bad things are with the club but hey you enjoy your night out with the family tonight mate.
