Well that's good because you'll have to do without my contribution. I counted them before my first mowing and only had about 30. Now if they invented a drink made fom daisies.

I was wondering about @Terrarian also @coollino he occasionally posts in here but is a very good poster on the depression thread also he’s from my neck of the woods. Hope they are okay.

I think T will find his way back when he's ready, but his absence likely means he's been suffering. I am concerned about C though. Not heard from him since we were chatting on New Year's eve. I miss our banter in the music thread.

Well Daisy is home from the vets. XRay showed a fracture of her right pelvis , fortunately it doesn’t need surgery and her left leg is a bit battered . She’s home now and we’ve got further visits and 6 weeks of indoor TLC ahead, but it could have been worse and despite her looking very sorry for herself we are optimistic of a good outcome

Morning all, more cat trauma for us. Our black and white cat Daisy has been missing for two nights but turned up this morning clearly injured in her back leg but somehow making it home. So it was off to the vets , left her there for an X-Ray on her injured leg/ back and we’ll know more later . It’s possible she’s been hit by a car. We were due to go and see Alfie Boe and Michael Ball tonight but that’ll have to be cancelled now . Mrs bl is obviously very upset but we’ll just have to take it from there here and hopefully nurse Daisy back to full health.

Really hope she is fine. Many years ago our then cat Cleo limped home after being hit by a car. Fortunately she went on to live a very full and happy life

Haha no, he’s sitting on the shelf at home next to Mr G.’s hearing aids which he remembered he wasn’t wearing when we were halfway here. Of course he may have done this on purpose so he could have a peaceful week.

Is he having a rest ( Teddy , not Mr G !) after his exploits for Man U and England. He's getting on a bit now and we get tired you know.


Talking of getting tired. Workies in yesterday to drop the potting shed in the tropical garden so I can re model it and create a seating area.

So I was very busy yesterday taking the bits of shed down to the animals pen and burning it and then moving the path in the tropical and creating and planting 2 new beds. Moved a few flagstones but there are 4 3x2 that are ridiculously heavy .

Managed to get them out but way too heavy for me to move any distance so when the workies have finished repairing the fence that the goats have demolished I will ask them for a favour.

Good set of lads but they do insist on leaving the gates open which is a nightmare when you've got dogs.

To compound matters the window cleaners in today as well and Mrs J has sauntered off to the rescue shop - it is Tuesday after all ! .

So, dogs in separate bedrooms for today .
