Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all on this sunny day here .I hope all slept better than @peteblue ! And have a great day . A bit of a litmus test today when we go to to Chelsea ,we will miss Tarks for sure but he must move Jake over and not put wooden leg back in ,what would he need to play him for ? Surely he hasn't got the notion of keeping him .
Have a great day all COYB

If Patterson doesn’t get a start today then he knows for certain he is gone. Actually hard to call what Moyes will do though but thank goodness the game counts for nothing.

Doubt I will get seeing the game as I am in sunny Clones for the Ulster Semi Final. Celtic playing at the same time on TV as Everton pre-game was the last thing I wanted to see. I think us Toffees in the bar may be rather outnumbered in the battle for the TV ☹️

Good morning all. I hope everyone is doing fine. I'm so glad you are posting again @Terrarian I've missed you and Daisy. I actually joined the Friday night drinking set last night - a couple of glasses of Pinot.
Yesterday I went shopping with Sophie and Chris. They have booked a holiday to Greece for their wedding anniversary next month. I'm so glad that Chris is finally starting to think he can actually go outside as long as he is careful and covers up. Then we went to see Frankie and I changed a nappy for the first time in about 25 years!
Today is waiting in for a furniture delivery- by tonight we will have something to sit on rather than camping chairs. I think Chris and Sophie are going to have a trip to Beamish Museum for the day. It's a living museum and well worth a visit if you are in the area.
I really hope we can get something out of the Chelsea game.
Have a great day everyone x

Morning all, hope you're all well. Looks like it may rain today. Daisy didn't even get 5 mins out the door this morning before peeing me off eating stuff, so as soon as she had had a poop we came home, cba fighting her if she's already at it 5 mins in ffs lol.

I see we are on tv at 12.30, I haven't decided if I'm going to bother, I want this season over, Dyche left me traumatised, simply lying to us about the ability of the players. they may not be elite but they were much much better than sitting in for 90+ mins every game, embarrassing for Dyche that Moyes came in and let them play and what do you know, they can play a bit and score goals.

If he gets another top flight job then I feel sorry for the supporters of that club, he really is a tactical dinosaur.

I never intended a rant but Dyche boils my blood

Glad it's you changing nappies and not me Anj lol, I have enough poop with madam.

Have a good day guys.

So pleased that Chris is starting to feel more optimistic.
I needed nappy changing lessons when Harry was born - where were the pins, cream, liners, bucket and sanitiser? Piece of cake these days, on reflection probably the wrong analogy 😂.
Went to Beamish about 35 years ago now, would love to go back but I wouldn’t go down the mine again. I hadn’t realised it was a drift mine. I thought we would go down in a cage not walk into it half bent double. A few years later when my anxiety was at it worst I used to comfort myself that the person who went down that mine was still there somewhere I just needed to find her again.
For anyone interested here’s a video, the bit down the mine starts at about 4 minutes.

So pleased that Chris and Sophie can have a lovely holiday together and May is a great time to go. The world has definitely changed since our kids were babies hasn’t it in terms of what to do - the advice that they get is miles away from what I did such as keeping them cool and don’t put a coat on them in the car. I used to wrap Josh up in so many layers in winter he could barely bend his arms and legs and was like a starfish in his little all in ones 😂. It didn’t do him any harm tho, but I’m not saying anything to Beth and Josh as I don’t want to be the interfering mother in law. I confess to having a secret pair of socks for her in case she visited and her feet were cold. Thank goodness for the warmer weather

You’re spot on about Dyche - it confused me no end how players who on paper should be half decent were putting in performances like that. It’s such a weird feeling not being worried about staying up. I would like us to keep our place tho but I think we will really miss Tarks especially for his leadership particularly with the young lads at the back.

You were brave - me and underground don’t mix I just get so claustrophobic. I once went potholing on one of these management development things that were popular in the 90s and it traumatised me for life. Also couldn’t even think about going on a submarine. Luckily for me I don’t have to do either.

Have you listened to the new Sterophonics album mate, or do you still have some pins left you haven't stuck in your eyes yet.?😀

The first track is classic Stereophonics and I'm thinking hold on. But it goes very quickly downhill from there. It's basically a C&W album. The Manics album is far better.
