ToxtethBlue

Player Valuation: £50m
Will he get a game tommorow for the US?

It'll be interesting to see him. I've seen him in the Dutch League but it'll be better to see how he copes against the likes of Gerrard, Lampard and Hargreaves etc.

Moyes is supposedly still interested.

If Bob Bradley continues as he has recently regarding the lineup, I wouldn't be surprised if you see Bradley and Clark in the center of midfield a la Neville/Carsley. Especially against a team like England AT Wembley Stadium.

Altidore probably won't start (I'd guess Donovan and Dempsey) but you'll probably see him sometime in the 2nd half, say 55 to 60 minute mark.

Cheers mate i have heared some great things about him and wouldnt mind seeing what all the fuss is about.

Anyone who intrested in Ramsey and Ledley they should both start for Wales as well, yes times are getting hard for us footie fans!

I think Bradley goes forward alot more at Heverreen than he does for the national team. Bill is right when he says he'll probably be partnered with Clark.

Altidore will prob be a sub in at around the 60min.

The US team has no strikers whatsoever (if McBride is interested I think he'd be able to get in on the 2010 team and perhaps start). Dempsey is more of a RW forced into the striker role and Donovan is more of a attacking midfielder as well. Recently the US team's best goal scorer has been Onywaeu the CB for Standard Liege who was downright terrible at NUFC last year. I'll be interested to see how he does.

The US has been incredible knocking in corners recently. They seem to score alot more from corners than in open play.

Prediction: US 1 England 2

From what I read Reading bid 5M for Altidore a couple weeks ago and the MLS turned it down. If his value is only around that much then he's a steal.

I honestly think Mike Bradley's gonna be stuck playing a deeper role most of the game, because the U.S. is horrid at keeping possession against quality teams. Bradley's practically a first choice player for the U.S. team though, so I can only imagine there's a decent chance he'll play all 3 matches against the suicidal schedule of England, Spain, and Argentina.

Hate to say it, but it appears Altidore's not going to make the England game, he's supposedly being rested recently due to fatigue from playing in the U-20 World Cup, Olympic Qualifiers, National team, and MLS without much rest. I'm hoping they bring him out for the games against Argentina or Spain though. That guy is truly a beast. While I'm at it, Donovan's a game time decision due to a tight groin.

Good information and good first post.

Welcome to GOT Icarus. (y)

Think if bradley plays well tonight, their could be a bid for him very soon. He's been watched by everton scouts about 3 times. Moyes will be their tonight, it could be his big chance.

Look forward to seeing him play.

Good, i want to see what hes like - id like to sign him now tbh, but i havnt seen him play at all....

...but as for the match - im more interested in jagielka, howard and lescott - especially jagielka - because i think he is already one of our best players...

I was shouting about this lad ages ago. I truly hope he plays like I am convinced he is capable of(as long as we have a behind closed doors deal already done and dusted).
