Michael Bradley?

I was dissapointed with him but I'm not judging him one this performance. Its an England game and every England game is the same. No passion, no competitiveness and 22 players passing sideways and backwards. I thought every player was shocking bar one or two. USA and England players.

From what I've seen of Bradley at Heerenveen and at the under 20 world cup his is a promising player but he's not one who's going to stand out immensely.

At the end of the day TB were buying him to play in his USA position and not his club position. If were buying him for his club position than i would be even less inclined to buy him and he is nowhere near as good as Arteta, Ossie, Cahill and Pienaar.
In the def midfielder position he looks slow, cant tackle and doesnt protect the back 4. Its a big No

No way near as good as anyone in our squad, midfield wise on that performance and i would include the late great cars in that aswell (n)

I thought he was crap to be honest.

As was the entire USA squad, bar Tim Howard.

Thought he was a bit slow to react to Terry's header to be honest, not saying he should have saved it but at least done better.
Moyes has watched Bradley twice recently, that poor performance last night and he got sent off in the 1st half for his club. I would be very surprised if moyes made a bid now......thankfully

What concerns me is that if we signed him he will be playing against players of the same calibre every week as he was last night and in all honesty England where not that good. But the guys that have seen a lot more of him rate him so I'm unsure if hes worth having I mean it is easy to believe that was a off night for him guess we will have to trust Davy mind you I thought he wanted to play in Germany any way.(y)

I have just read in the post that Bradley wants to come to us and Tim Howard thinks he would do cars role,so on the grounds that hes played with him I must accept that perhaps I was to hasty in my judgement(y)

I'm still amazed how many "knowledgeable" Evertonians are basing his allround ability and whether or not we should make a move for him on ONE MATCH.

Like I said before, if anyone had watched last night's match, and it was the first time they'd seen all 22 players, they'd be saying the EXACT SAME THING about one David Bentley.

Get a grip people and have a word with yourselves.

He was poor as was the entire US squad. No doubting that. But come on. If anything, it could be a blessing in disguise in that his price could have been cut in half after last night's performance (if you want to call it that.)

But 18 goals for Heerenveen? Yah, he's crap cause it's Holland and not England.... I'm having a laugh.

No doubt many of you were the same people begging for Moyes to stay away from Yakubu last year (and for 12M no less) based on his current form at Boro. :@

Actally he's already proven that he could score so I wasn't too worried about that. I did want to see if he could tackle and the couple tackles he threw in were pretty good. He doesn't go forward much on the US team.

The whole US team wasn't crap last night, Eddie Lewis looked damn good on the right wing, I thought I was watching Pinnear. Granted its only 1 20 minute performance but SIGN HIM!!!

One word. Kezman..

I've always loved Yakubu.

He (Bradley) had a few good tackles. In the 2nd half, he also gave the ball away three or four times (2 of those times under no pressure whatsoever) and one of those times in our box. I'll chalk it up to fatigue but he was making some elementary mistakes that frankly, he shouldn't have been making.

Lewis did ok and Adu did ok (other than several errant passes) but no one really stood out which is too bad as we had a decent team out there.

Who was godlike in Holland and a joke just about anywhere else he's been.

So now we're comparing Kezman's Holland to England experience with what MIGHT happen with Bradley IF he comes to England?

Just out of curiousity, was Kezman signed on a free or was he transferred? And if transferred, how much was the fee?

I guess you are right, Ronaldo was a god at PSV and what did he ever do on the world stage?

Chelsea paid 15M for Kezman.

Don't forget Van Nistlerooy.

[Poor language removed].

15M for Kezman, and that was 4 or 5 years ago when the transfer market wasn't as inflated as it was today?

No comparison there then as we won't be paying anywhere near 20-25M for Bradley. Maybe we could use Kuyt as a comparison? No, the [Poor language removed] paid a lot for him too if I recall. 10M or something like that?
