Agreed and Moyes left 5 years ago! We still use 3 of his players in our defense.

Horrific recruitment in defence since Moyes left. Brands/Silva have been left with a lot of work to do.

His very worst attribute is his “marking” when a ball comes into the box, he just always marks no-one and let’s someone nod into an empty net. Quickly followed by his recovery time and reactions for when he makes his inevitable mistake. Quickly followed by his pace and back-pedalling. Quickly followed by him being absolute turd.

Duffy didn’t really have any pace either. Agree Keane needs to be sold.

True had isn't rapid but reads the game far better than Keane (but then who doesn't) and more importantly doesn't get bullied.

You’re right. We need proper investment. This is a key area of the team. We’ve just spent big on a young quality forward in Richarlison. We need to do likewise with a centre back.

As long as it’s someone who can fit the system we want to play and not someone like Keane who looked good in a completely different system.

Throw £30m at Ajax for their young centre back. Pair him with Holgate and let them progress together. Our other defenders are beyond help.
