No doubt he had some poor performances (not nearly as many as most of the squad), but we didn't even sit in our own box last season. We gradually moved everyone up the pitch with about 400 sideways passes before being caught out on the break and looking confused about it

He was one of the worst performers in a squad of bad performers.

And you can't say we weren't playing deeper, if we where any deeper at times they'd be sitting off in the Gwladys

Feel.sorry for the lad to be honest. We've bought a big grock of a centre back, and now we are asking him to play expansive football in a high line. If we say in our own box and asked him to head anything that moved we'd all love him by now

But his ball playing is the best aspect of his game! He is actually fairly comfortable on the ball, he just can't do any of the traditional defender type things.
