I’d more blame Holgate for the second goal tbh. Was in absolute no mans land, and that creates doubt in Keane’s head as he then had two men to mark.
I’m not a fan, but thought he was really good today.

Yeah, he was better, but another goal conceded where our defenders stand like Lemons with a tall striker standing unmarked in between.

I really hope he comes good, seems a sound lad. But, I think in time Zouma will grab his place with Mina being the n1 centre half.

He had his best performance today and it was a solid 6/10. Says something.

Was playing really well until the goal. I thought this but didn’t want to say it out load or type it as a message in case it jinxed him.
2 minutes later their number 9 is completely unmarked to nod in.

Looked pretty good today.

Second goal was the consequence of (1) Coleman not stepping in to pressure the possession, resulting in (2) a perfectly placed cross.

Most of the time neither of those happen, let alone both.

Keane is being punished for not living up to the stupidly lofty expectations when he was signed.

Think he’s a decent player, he can be a good asset to the squad. If we were a top 4 team he wouldn’t get a look in, but we’re not.

Also didn’t help that we gave neves all the time he wanted to pick his cross. No one pressured at all.

He did have a good game. But he's not a reliable defender, shown that to many times already and his mistakes usually end up with goals conceded.

He was decent today, but you can't let that goal happen. You just can't. Their target guy is sitting right there. You simply HAVE to know where he is at all times. To just sit there, no reaction, ball watching, you just cannot let that happen. I would be pretty surprised if Holgate and MIna isn't eventually the back two, but it is going to take time for them to gel.

Unfortunately, Keane just isn't very good. It's really not much more than that.

Exactly what I thought, he spilt the difference in trying to mark 2 men and got caught by an inch perfect cross.

I watched on TV and the second goal for me is Baines's fault. If he was not too chill, Raul Jimenez will get caught in offside trap.

I have been a harsh critic of young Keano. I think he had probably his best game in a blue shirt.

In a way us going down to 10 men suited him in my eyes. We defended deep for the most part which is where his weaknesses aren't exposed. I think he is still a liability in a high line and in 1 v 1 situations until he proves otherwise.

..i’m his worst critic but the lad played well yesterday, despite the disruption of losing his defensive partner. I wouldn’t criticise him for their 2nd goal, sometimes the quality of the cross takes a defender out.
