again Bulgaria have won 0 because they are awful, Czech have won more games because they are better but have won games against poor teams ( the England game was a one off lets be honest )

either way I kind of get what you are saying in it's easier to look better against Bulgaria as mings was relatively untroubled... but Keanes form has been an issue ALL season not just against Czech

he shouldn't be anywhere near the England team ( he shouldn't be anywhere near our team is truth is being told ) we just don't have someone to replace him

Yeah i try and stick up for everton players but keane is not that level. Neither is mings imo.

weird one that mings, was a full back when Bournemouth signed him wasn't he? ( dispute being a massive unit ) looked awful but then was good for villa last season and has been solid this season as well? maybe a change in position has helped him because he looks alrite ( again not England good though )

And who replaces him?
I think Gaffa, who suggested leaving Michael out on Saturday, was thinking in the best interests of Keane as well as Everton, Michael has had a very poor season, fans suggest he is a confidence player and he looks completely shattered mentally at the moment, so a rest might help him at the minute, to be honest he is an handicap to to the team the way he is playing, so anyone who comes in should be an improvement. I suggest Holgate.

Awful error for villa against norwich that gave norwich their only goal just before the int break. Were 5-0 up mind. But hes another i think has got errors in him. Who knows

Thank you, Spot on

He also set up Arsenal for one of their goals against Villa.

He's quick, strong and shouts a lot but not sure he's actually a very good defender.

He's 26 now as well so hardly a prospect.

I am surprised we haven't tried three at the back with Holgate between Keane and Minna.
We could afford to go with one defensive midfielder and bring a bit more pace into the midfield area.

I always thought that under Silva we would be attack minded but maybe suspect at the back... I was only half right.

Played really well today, good lad.

The echo gave him a good report as well.

For me though i noticed a couple of poor fouls + a couple of times their forwards got past him from nothing. I wasnt particular focused on him though.

Just isnt a patch on Mina for me + i think we need a very quick covering defender in there so with that, Keane should be 3rd choice.

Michael Keane has had shall we say, an indifferent first few weeks to the new season, but today he was calm and did his job well.
Mina catches the eye as he's bigger and flashier whereas MK is an archetypal, English centre back.

He might never be a world class star but he, like so many of the others, played much better in a more forward thinking formation... that saw the midfield run the game, take it to West Ham and largely protect the defence from as much work as they've had to do in earlier games.
