don't get me wrong both would be boss and ideal partners for mina, but Zouma has started most of their games ( as you say down to rudiger being injured ) but it will be harder to convince him than it was in the summer

Sanchez is the youngest out of their 3x CBs, that vertonghen is getting on and alderwerield is out of contract in the summer, poch won't let him go I don't think
Poch may not be there to make that decision....new manager might want his own defence/style which, if we offer levy a decent profit he might consider worth taking

Yeah I agree with your point. Will be hard to attract these type of players without European football to offer. Yeah Sanchez will be hard with there defenders getting on or about to leave.

Zouma or Sanchez from spurs that would be a good partnership height, power and pace and both decent on the ball.

lol Sanchez cost spurs over 40m, they'd probably be looking to double their money if he was available. We aren't paying 80m for a CB lol

Should be on the bench and a partner for Mina found going forward.

Decent squad player but nothing more.

I doubt he's on squad player wages and he's unlikely to be happy long term in a supporting role if he's got any ambition. If a better replacement is found he's better off moving on and we find either a Holgate younger payer or an older pro coming to the end to warm the bench.

I hope he's getting some help in training, because aside from pace he has the tools to be a good defender.

Daniel Levy will be as reasonable as ever and not look to inflate the price. Should be a straightforward deal although Brands may need therapy after it's all signed and sealed.

I think more like 60 is realistic he isn’t van dyke and he ain’t English so won’t pay a 20 million premium which all clubs seem to have to do to buy English players. Chelsea will want between 40-50 for Zouma I think Sanchez is better player and knows Mina. This is all conjure anyway.

Yeah get your point about he is hard to negotiate. But to be fair any decent chairman would look for the best possible deal for the club they represent. All I say is try and if he goes over the top we leave simple as that but not to try is stupid. We won’t even go for him anyway will go for loan in January for Zouma with view to buy.

You missed the bit about positional sense and speed of thought.;)

Zouma is now a regular at a team in the champions league, why on earth would he come back here? Genuine question btw.

That's the bit I hope he's getting some help with on the training pitch.... I know they aren't going to make him any faster, but maybe they can help raise his game positionally?

Before anyone leaps in with 'if he doesn't know it's by now' yeah, I get it! However... the best coaches seem able to improve even seasoned players, if nothing else it's cheaper than looking to buy in a new one...

He may become available when Chelsea can buy players again. At the moment they're being forced to make do with what's already there, but central defence is so critical a position they may want to upgrade?

Agreed, but I honestly think by now if he doesn't get it he never will.Someone else posted he wasn't half bad,I'm still trying to think which half. That dopey expression he has must make Archie Knox's palm itch.
